  1. Something of interest - A hybrid Nissan NX running the driveline from the Pulsar GTiR Soth's 1993 NX - PROJECT AWD Its classed as a ICV. From what i could understand he finished the build but never bothered with updating the thread.
  2. I was more thinking of Maroochy Car Sound but meh
  3. And Judge Judy springs to mind. If its man vs woman, 9 times out of 10 no matter what the woman wins. God i hate that program.
  4. :hmm: A couple of angle brackets and a length of 75x25mm RHS The bit that i'm holding is to be welded to the other bracket. The bolt goes upside down (bolt head to the bumper) and the nut screws up to the bracket acting like a clamp. Another angle bracket for the lower driving light. Bolts to the back side of the bumper bracket.
  5. I once got asked if i have trouble seeing at night No, was my answer :hmm:
  6. I don't have one of those Amber disowned her mum, cause the mother is nothing but a stuck-up dog of a woman.
  7. 80w-90 ?? Take it back... Unless your going to use it in the diff. I used 80w-90 in the g'box by accident and when cold gear changes was nothing but a mission impossible. Castrol VMX80 is what i'm using and it changed the g'box from a teeth cleaner to a clean swapper.
  8. :hmm: where does the motor have to be positioned ? Or rather where do you want the motor to be positioned ? And where do you want to have the drivers seat ? If it was me, i'd put the motor about half way past the firewall into the cabin, sit the drivers seat to the left side of the car about where the B-pillar is and ditch the rear cart springs for IRS. Motor would be in the better spot for good handling, drivers position would help with reducing the car twisting under power and the power to weight should launch it out of corners like a scolded cat.
  9. Question - what type of v6 is being planed for the car ? Lets not assume that its going to be the buick v6, for all we know it could be the 1.8Lt v6 from the Eunos 30X or the 2.0Lt v6 from the Mazda 929
  10. I poured the oil for my thing the hole for the reversing switch. From memory it was castrol vmx80 that i used.
  11. Here's one for ya to chew over - An old school mate of mine got his 6 cylinder xd falcon defected cause he didn't have a mod plate for the v8 that some how looked like a in-line 6 with only 6 spark plugs and original engine number. The cop turned around and called him a smart arse and yadda yadda. Took the car to the transport department that same day to get the defect lifted and the inspector just laughed at him and ripped up the fine...
  12. Get outa bed and go to work ya sook. Toowoomba drivers. Half of them shuts me to tears. Been using my phone as a "safety cam" thing when i'm driving to cover my arse if some dumb arse does some dumb arse action. Like, who the hell in their right mind would get halfway through a set of lights, hit the brakes cause the lights have changed and then proceed to reverse back ???? All i can say about it is that i'm lucky i was in the outside lane and this dumb arse was on the inside lane and had no-one behind. No, he wasn't an old fart nor a young guy and he wasn't female either. At a guess i'd say in his 30's. Couldn't help but have a chuckle when he flashed his IQ score at me....
  13. Sorry to say it guys but it looks like we won't be able to make it this time round :(
  14. Who would have known that "bog" would have two meanings
  15. Yep agree on that. We wont be going to The All Jap Day, its too far for us to travel.
  16. Man, that photo is years old. The 308 in that thing has gone through all types of induction - NA, forced, nitrous. Have a search through the Engine Conversions section or the rides section of the forum There's a dude from Tassie thats putting one into his ke36. Interesting read cause he also used the struts and lower control arms from the commodore. I'd say a trial fit with the gearbox would be in order just to see how close it'd be to the hand brake. Side note - trans tunnel size doesn't change whether its an auto or manual. The only bit that changes is the mounts on the car body for the transmission.
  17. What the heck is S.T.I ?? Subaru Tecnica International ? stacey testro international ?? But if your not careful you can catch the infection from Sports Technology International
  18. I don't think you read it correctly. The Mrs knows my driving style. I'm too old to drive like a dick, gave up driving like one over 20 years ago. Edit: Not the best way of it but least the cruise thread has been given a bit of life :P
  19. Went down to Warwick today to watch the Junior Dragsters. Wasn't expecting much. And what a shock and a half i got. Loud and nasty sounding, even the juniors of the juniors. The average speed of the older one was around 75-78Mph. One broke out at around 84Mph. Heck, some of them would give Mr and Miss average a damn good run for their money if they were allowed on the street. Was some damn good racing i thought. Even if it was only a 1/8mile strip.
  20. Latin Ditto is slang for "Dictum"
  21. Straight up i can think of a few places to have a little fun in your car. It just depends on what you class as "a little fun in your car", i class my little bit of fun in my car is to go for a tool around the streets with my four year old son in the back loving every moment of it. Heck, even my eight year old loves getting picked up from school in it. And i don't even have to break the 60 speed limit nor have too do fully sik drifts with a pair of bald skid tires on the back. And yet every time i come back home i've (or we) had fun going for a drive. I have the impression that your disillusioned concept of reality has led you into the believe that a public road is your race track. It takes a big set of gonads to drive on the street with intelligence, whereas it only takes a pair of peanut sized nuts to drive like an idiot and tosser on the street. What size are yours ??
  22. :hmm: And how old are you ?? The one thing that i've learnt over the years is making sure you learn from the mistakes you've made and too make sure you do not do the same dumb thing over and over again and again
  23. Bah, planking, i can't really see whats so bad about it. I do it each and every night i go to bed. Amber on the other case, she's more like a plank going through a band saw.....
  24. Sitting here at the laptop in front of the tv. Ambers sitting near me and all of a sudden BBBRRAAHH Dirty wench farted. Those damn AMI adds, their back on tv. Even my eight year old knows what their on about.
  25. Which one ? There's two http://www.twincam.org/ - Which was bought by Hammerdown, who went stupid and kicked almost everybody off the site. So the old owner started up twincam.org.au - Which is the new aussie forum. Not i. I love this thread, it means i can relieve the pressure buildup without having to stink myself out.
