  1. Its what i've always done. The best one was late at night after i'd finished work. 75 in a 60 zone a car flashed me so i flashed the cop car back with the high beam and the six spot lights. Spotted them chuck a u-turn and so i made a bolt down a couple of side streets. Got pulled up and thats when i realized i didn't have any id at all. Had a good 30 minute or so chat with them and all i got was a "be careful who you flash next time." Never leave your vehicle unless they ask you to. Sorry but its the worst thing you could have done. Damn lucky they didn't leave a note on the ground where the car was. RCA's Roll Centre Adjusters
  2. yes it does But at the same time the extra money will be good, plus its supposed to be a big two night event. I've got my fingers crossed i'll be able to grab a free ticket
  3. Mmm business card :P And they can get me Dr Pepper
  4. Honda D16A Its all vtec babee
  5. Honda S800. Roller bearings on the crank, chain drive to the IRS :P Another interesting design that seams to be coming in favour with the hybrids Atkinson cycle engine Based on the typical otto cycle engine (aka 4 stroke engine) but the strokes are different
  6. First time in i don't how long we've been doing the camping scene, it looks like we're going to have to bow out of this one. Ambers picked up some work with the speedway and she'll be working that weekend. Cool but little disappointed at the same time.
  7. Front end looks almost T-18 but with more rake on the windscreen. Two eyes and a mouth with the canopy up Edit - I'll take that back, more celica-supra. Om nom nom.
  8. "Spotto a 57 chev...... a blown 57 2 door"
  9. Had this one in my old ae82 - 95mm Also was using it in the ke30 at one stage but it was a touch too long. Not sure on the length of the one i'm using now, not going to go measure it as its late and cold outside but i can say is that it came from the t-18 i once had years ago.
  10. Depended on the trim level to if it came with one. Base model (or basic trim) didn't Mid model (or mid trim level) did and the top of the line did and also came with the tape deck.
  11. Mmm, a small box for only a dollar Powerstroke F-truck :P Forget the Holden Crewman Damn you i will not keep calm, i need my coffee fix again Edit - Ha saved by the edit button
  12. Been thinking it over time and time again and i guess the bullet has hit, i'm going to have to let the turtle go. We can't really afford to run two cars and even knowing i love to drive a manual i'm finding it easier to drive the lancer cause its auto. Just have knee problems nothing to do with the clutch. And since i'm going to move the turtle on, everything else i have for it (spares, parts etc) can go with it as well. I wouldn't have any need for the stuff. Was thinking around the three grand mark. Too much ? Throw me a PM and we'll go from there. But do remember this is everything
  13. Two speed or three speed auto ? The drive shaft for the two speed auto can be used for the manual g'box Whereas you'll have to hunt up one if it came from the three speed auto. Three speed auto - aka the holden trimatic
  14. Which is the rare 21 spline g'box
  15. Just like the markets, was good decades ago. But on that note,
  16. I've got to question that, cause the shifter for the ke70 g'box is further back then what the ke30 shifter is. So unless the car is originally an auto you will be cutting metal to fit the g'box. Other then that, the parts you'll be needing is the g'box x-member from the ke30 (Re-drilled for the ke70 g'box mount), a pair of 1 inch spacer blocks that'll go between the x-member and the car frame and a pair of M10 x 50mm bolts After my experience with exedy i'm steering clear and leaning more to clutch industries. The CI clutch plate that i had to get to replace the exedy clutch doesn't just look stronger but its also firmer under the left foot. And it was cheaper as well.
  17. Did you you look in the fridge :hmm: ??
  18. LOL Blondes got to love 'em :P
  19. All i need now is a pair of giant uhf aerials, a truck exhaust pipe, and some cowboy and B & S stickers. Nar just a bigger alternator.....
  20. Thats the rule of "Three" isn't it ?
  21. That'll be cool. We'll (amber and I) have to work finances out in advance cause we've been put a strict budget plan.
  22. Got fixed, Kind of, went into centrelink and bitched to them about it. Still have to pay back about 1500 but its better then what it was before.
  23. Quick question - whats the head from ? Just cause the block is a 5k doesn't fully mean the head is a shaved 5k, it could very well be a 3k thats been heavily shaved just to bring the compression back up. Since you have the head off, cc the chambers like the others have said.
  24. If your talking about the intake manifold it depends on what you call a standard manifold http://www.rollaclub.com/faq/index.php?title=Tech:Engine/K_Series/Intake_manifolds Maybe the intake manifold from the later 4k (KE70) for the intake. The ports are a good size for the turbo. My thoughts anyways, i haven't been blown yet.
  25. Just run a smear of axle/bearing grease along the rubber seal (the side that gets placed on the block)
