  1. The 20v has the oil squirters. But on the other hand so does the later 16v (aka the redtop small port block), so i wouldn't know of the difference between the versions. The one place i use to haunt a fair bit was Club 4ag, you could just about say the place is a bible for the 4a motors. What do people use as their bit torrent program and what site do you go to for having a search for interesting crap to download ? I'm starting to think of getting back into it.
  2. Sounds like the commodore has "Mad delco disease"
  3. Sweet ! Where do i sign up
  4. Transformers tax. I like that :lolcry:
  5. Ok, so where would we be camping ? At Canungra or ? Mostly so that we can start putting money aside
  6. Yep. When my tax came in a few months back one of the things i splashed out on was a 42" LCD tv and a wall bracket to go with it. Now i finely got the motivation to mount the bracket to the wall and lay up a new tv point etc, cause we're moving the tv from one side of the room to the other side.Just had the father-inlaw help me lift the tv onto the bracket and the phuckin bracket is too bloody short. Yet the bracket is made for a 42" tv If i had a shoe, i'd throw it
  7. Would have been good if it was but it was a pallet of paint for one of the companies in town here.
  8. Reminds me of the time when i was working, an order that only had to come from brisbane some how made its way to townsville across to perth and then on to melbourne before it finely made its way to toowoomba.
  9. Ok the 8th is OUT, the 15th is OUT and the 29th is OUT. So that only leaves Friday the 21st and Saturday the 22nd. :P Amber
  10. Damn it I has no toblerone left :-(
  11. Prelude to Space, The Sands of Mars, Islands in the Sky, Childhood's End, Earthlight, The Deep Range, A Fall of Moondust, Dolphin Island (Haven't read), Glide Path Imperial Earth, The Fountains of Paradise, The Songs of Distant Earth, Cradle, The Ghost from the Grand Banks, The Hammer of God, Richter 10 The Trigger, The Light of Other Days (with Stephen Baxter), The Last Theorem (Haven't read), Time's Eye, Sunstorm Space Odyssey - 2001: A Space Odyssey (In the opening scene of the book AC Clarke wrote about the space ship being powered by nuclear blasts, he was the first person to adopt "The Orion Project" to a novel.) 2010: Odyssey Two, 2061: Odyssey Three, 3001: The Final Odyssey, The Lost Worlds of 2001 (Haven't read) Rama series - Rendezvous with Rama, Rama II, The Garden of Rama, Rama Revealed Got bored with him, so i moved to Stephen Baxter and got bored as well, so i moved on again Edit - must admit i used wiki for the novel names only cause i can't remember all the names.
  12. I've got to live with mine :( I do have another one (mouse/keyboard combo) but the receiver for it some fool stepped on it. Phuckin brilliant combo, i think, all the buttons in the right spots. The typical front pair of buttons, the wheel could be pushed (like the norm) but it could also be used for left/right moving and it also had the two page flip buttons behind the scroll wheel. Phuckin excellent mouse no accidents possible unless it was thrown at someone.
  13. Stuff by John Ringo, rather enjoy his novels. Its mostly all go go go in the action. I'm about to get in between the covers titled "The Hot Gate" But at the moment i'm a few pages off from finishing a Clive Cussler novel "Treasure - A Dirk Pitt Novel". So far its the second one of his that i've read and it seams ok but can be a little drawn out at times. Andy McNab - think of the Jason Bourne movies style of nitty gritty, the use of whats on hand and available in a shop etc and you have the makings of a Andy McNab novel. Have read a couple of non-fiction books. "Project Orion" being one of them.
  14. I'll chew it over with amber and see what she says about it.

  16. http://www.toyotaref....com/corolla#CO Mostly deals with the colour codes. Some of the links work some don't And don't forget "scionlife" also has a thread on the forum toyota-corolla-4th-gen-color-spec-chart http://www.toyodiy.com/ http://www.club4ag.com/ http://www.club4ag.c...hnical_main.htm http://www.club-k.co.nz/ En Zeds version of rollaclub, only better in way. http://3tcgarage.com/ A forum for the owners of the 3t-c motor. And also by the looks of it the 2rz and 3rz motors http://arrc.epnet.co...p/8586/8586.htm Online workshop manual for the 1970-87 model corolla and the 3k-c, 2t-c, 3t-c, 4a series and 1c. These "Handy sites" only rolla related ? Or can they be of other sites as well ?? http://honda-tech.co...ad.php?t=597192 DIY ITR Wheel Alignment Simple Strings. Just a DIY version of http://www.smartraci...g/alignment.htm - SmartStrings http://www.instructa...e-Camber-Gauge/ The instructables version of the camber gauge. I think adding it to the FAQ sounds promising, gets it away from being pinned and using up valuable header space. Just would have to work out how the links would be organized for it to really work. But idea with adding it to the FAQ at the same time is going to hide it from the average user cause they don't bother looking in the FAQ. But the biggest question is of making sure the links are still up to date from time to time.
  17. I'm really a lesbian
  18. Holy heck, hope you don't need them to soon. Ask JiP he use to have one stalking him back at his parents place. I want a mini mill damn it
  19. Good on ya :poke: lol
  20. Yep, i'd sooner the 1uz over the 1j or what ever the twin turbo 6 banger is in the soarer/supra. But when you think of it the 1uz isn't as techno advanced as the 4's (or at least the last time i read up on it) But when you start throwing in fly by wire (electronic throttle), spark control, injection control, vvti, variable vane turbos. All that monster torque really starts being controlled. And then throw in the control on the brakes yadda yadda you also get something with incredible turn-in response. EG that Porsche SUV thing, when you turn into a corner the inside rear brake is used to help the bus turn reducing understeer. But from what from i've read on the LS1 its not a bad motor on its own right. Damn it when am i going to get my hobby lathe :bash:
  21. :hmm: what a Ferrari donk ?? Or the likes
  22. I think its a blooming waste of time cause can you image if the typical v8 was made from alloy (or what ever it is the typical 4 is made from), four cams, 32 valves, a system on all the cams like hondas vtec, coil on spark plug, direct injection, forced induction the list can go on... I want a hobby lathe and mill damn it.
  23. No arguments from me on the v8 vs in-line 4 cause i know which one i'd sooner and i know if the available tech was thrown at it would be better. The only reason why the v8 is called a dinosaur is cause their still mostly based on dinosaur tech. And when they do use the high tech of multi cams, multi valves, direct injection etc their a weapon. BUT that weapon of a motor is unavailable to the average person. And whats bugging me is that i want a metal lathe and i can't get one, yet....
  24. How'd the camping trip go ???
  25. Thats cool
