  1. They already do it, but you just don't know it. Only the trusted go out on the work gangs and they get paid for the labour they put in. Cause the UN has declared that slave labour is bad and evil for the human being.
  2. Crash dummies rising from the grave. Oh lord what is this world coming to
  3. :hmm: me thinks you've got oil leak problems.
  4. Looks like ambers going to be late turning up on saturday, she's got a girlies day or something she wants to go to first.
  5. A pair of these (fig. 18) will the job nicely. I'm not sure what the blue lead could be for. Most times blue (like black) can be used for the colour coded ground wire. If its been fitted under a bolt or nut its possible its a ground cable. More so the case if the reverse switch has only the one wire coming from it.
  6. Doing that, kind of. Green Zone on the tv, RC on the laptop but thats about to be killed so that i can play Civilization IV and searching the android market on the phone (but when i get bored with that i'll be swinging my checks back on RC)
  7. Master chief top tip number one - find a movie to watch. Top tip number two - don't even bother flipping channels, there is nothing else on.
  8. Swinger parties ? I'm starting to think its not the type where you jump on a swing and see if you can swing higher then the other guy at the local play ground :hmm:
  9. Love the sound of the 4age getting a really good poke in the guts, but the idea of doing it on the street makes me want to scream out "WANKER" or "COCK-HEAD". Near home on Ruthven st between Spring st and Nelson st. For some reason its loved by the local cock-heads that want to use it as a drag strip. I'd reckon this 4age would have been well over the ton with three gear shifts at the red line and the fourth gear was around half when it backed off the noise.
  10. Shaving the block is called "decking" or "block decking". Its where the piston height is raised to decease the swept volume of the cylinder, the compression ratio is also increased cause of the lowered deck height. Yes and no, the crank pin (or what the conrod spins on) can be machined undersized but moving the base circle outwards as its decreased in size. Another way is of building up weld to the outside of the crank pin and then having it machined down to the correct size but the base circle is moved outwards. The downsides If you machine the crank pin too much can weaken it Have to be careful of the gap between the block skirt and the conrods Piston speeds can get to be a problem at the end the strokes, more so with short conrods. Which is why longer conrods are included in a stroker kit. All in all stroking the 3k crank would be a pointless waste of money when the 4k crank is available and you'll have a better start using the 4k block or the 5k block. Phil - didn't mean to sound negative or that. I say go for it, if you have ready access to tooling, parts etc go for it.
  11. Google is your friend HOW TO: Torsion bar suspension lowering
  12. Sorry to deflate your bubble but you won't get the 2.4lt from a K block, unless it was bored out to about 91mm. Have a bad idea the4Y crank will not fit the K block unless its the 7K and then you'll be under-stroking the motor. 4Y crank in the 2T and using 89mm pistons will give 2.1lt.
  13.
  14. Mmm Ralleye 4000's Been wondering if i should put them (and a second pair) on the ke30. From memory JiP's done it when he had Lolla
  15. "No-doz" for the win. brother and i did that for a straight run from Toowoomba up to Noosa and then on to Shepparton. Stayed a night and then came back home. Off our chops when we got to Shepparton. Guy i use to work with was an ex-truckie and reckoned pop a coffee bean in your mouth as your sucking on a can of V. Quarantine ? All it is, is just a bin with a sign asking for all fruit to be dumped in the bin before leaving QLD.
  16. Years ago a mate did that but we went past a cop booking someone. I swear the poor guy jumped higher then what the car was and the seat of his pants changed colour from blue to brown.
  17. I'm an unsure. I never heard of it till yesterday morning while listening to the radio.
  18. "Everyones talking about it" And thats only cause its getting rammed down our throats.
  19. Well i bit the bullet last week a bought a new clutch plate. Seeing that i couldn't get an exedy plate i got one from clutch industries. Clutch Industries on the left, Exedy on the right Both clutches are heavy duty. Or at least the CI one is. Bit like comparing paper and cardboard. And the CI clutch is stiff like cardboard and can feel it through the pedal. Unlike what the Exedy was like. And it was cheaper. But the turtle is back on the road again  Next steps on the car will be a bit more rust work and see about getting up to gympie, not just to see the parents but also a mate who has the efi gear from a pulsar that i can grab. So hopefully i'll be converting the car over to efi some time later this year.

  21. Today Tonight's "Dole street". Whats the bet nothings suitable and blah blah blah. And so with fingers pointed, their nothing but a bunch of dole bludgers. But its ok for the old tv starlet who's getting booted out of her home to ask on national tv for help finding a place, so people have helped. But nothings suitable ?! Sorry but What The f@$k.
