the alloytec is ok because I have the 190kw one with the paddle shift, so its pretty fun, kept up with my mates VT clubby around the great ocean road, lol I used VS ssl Rears because the VS IRS springs sit lower in post VT models, and they were free, and just SLs in the front mate

hey guys, thought id show you my Calais, bought it between letting the ke38 go to a new home and realising the ke26 needed to come off the road for a decent build, bought it down in Melbourne, bought it back to ballarat, lowered it a bit and smashed some 20s on.. its a alloytec V6, no power house but quick enough to do my license in! few pics of it

Started getting my act together and making some decent progress, got the quad carb setup almost together!!

Pretty sure I spent at least an hour drooling on this at fuelers inc. horsepower extravaganza at ballast this year! So cool!!!!

Made a fair bit of progress on this since I was last on here, got quad mikuni carbs for it, and finished the 114.3 conversion, getting it painted for my 21st in a few months, should hopefully be in the road and registered again early next year.

Just saw a really really super clean butterscotch ke20 coupe in Ballarat... Slammed on black steelies... From what I saw it had venetians and a very clean interior... And it wasn't sparkys (nick26)

hey everyone, havent posted for a little while, but a little bit of work has been done on the rolla, it has kind of turned into a bit of a memorial build for my grandfather who recently died so taking it slowly as i want this car to be absolutely perfect.. i have been trying to mount my FMIC, however i can't get it to sit right and where i want it, so thinking i will converted to a top mounted cooler, but i don't think that there will be enough airflow on a top mount, so perhaps i will run some hot rod style louvers on the bonnet when it goes in for all its body work, BCF and other boating stores have stainless steel louvers in various sizes.. so many decisions!! any suggestions would be welcome!!

Always works hahha my corolla key opens and starts pretty well all my mates rollas, also corona and celica keys work in mine but dunno if that's just cos my locks are worn. But try keys outta another corolla would be a good start :)

Yeah I've put the retractable seat belts in my 26. Great idea. Except mine came out of a wrecked 55.. And it takes like 5 minutes of jiggling to Get them to unlock to put them on.. Also.. Can't wait to see this retro suitcase sub box!! Hahah

I swapped the bloke at a local radiator joint my absolutey shagged out MS112 crown.. Even threw in the mice in the engine bay for free, in return for my radiator reco in the ke26.. So yeah.. I suppose $250-$300 would be about right hahah

My Vn got tboned about a year ago in similar circumstances... Foreign L plater.. I mentioned asio and then he got in my car to get me to take him to the ATM.. Hahah "I pay cash now" comes to mind.. Shame about your Rolla tho brother. Hope it all works out for you! Definitely go to the cops, and tell the cops that you can't thru to them on the number they provided and then the cops will call and that generally gets them A bit motivated :)

Bought some more stuff to build the 5k up, rollmaster timing kit and everything, also thought I would mention, for those who haven't found them already, on eBay there is a shop called bProjects, who specialize in datsun stuff, they are currently stocking brand new tomei lightened A12 pushrods, I bought I set and they are on their way from Japan as we speak, more pics and bit more of an update soon, cheers everyone :)
