  1. Thanks mate! Sundays are good yeah! the 2nd is definately a possibility then, and particularly if your available - as you've offered to lead people to the Barossa who may not know where to go! Please post here if your able to attend and if Sunday 2nd December is ok or if another date suits better? Cheers all, KJ :P

  3. We need to organise a date for this asap.. I'm going to do a flyer drop here in the Barossa and expect to get more than half a dozen people along just from around here!! 2 weekends to choose from. Do Saturdays or Sundays suit best? 1st weekend in December: Saturday the 1st or Sunday the 2nd or Saturday the 8th or Sunday the 9th of December? please reply with which date suits best, and we'll go with the date that suits the most people! Cheers KJ
  4. I lost a sister to cancer a few years ago, and when rollaclub went down It was like loosing another family member, caus some of you guys and girls r like family to me. A HUGE thanks to those who performed the miracle. KJ :y:
  5. Hey all, There's quite a few Rolla enthusiests in the Barossa Valley who would love to organise a cruise and a rollaclub meet and greet! I was thinking a Christmas Party! Something along the lines of a BBQ lunch and an afternoon cruise, sometime around Christmas!! DATE HAS BEEN SET! Sunday December 2nd. Times etc. yet to be confirmed. The Barossa Valley is only 1 hour North of the City, and only 30 mins from the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide (depending on where you live!) There are some really nice places to cruise and a couple great parks with BBQ's where we could have Lunch! Reply if your definately interested and I'll add you to the list! Cheers KJ :P _______________________________________________________________________________ Those who are currently in: KJ Nawty4 Haydo Sly T outburst ToDa30/4 73KE20
  6. Great Piccies Ben! But there is one car missing from that photo at Victor!!! Ok so for those of you who didn't come - here's the story... I went on the cruise with my mate Haydo in his KE30, and all was going well when his Rolla decided to take a sicky and park itself on the main Victor Harbour Highway - bout 15 mins on the Adelaide side of Victor. The car just stalled, going up the hill and it just died - lost all power. We sat on the side of the highway looking at it and trying figure out why it wouldn't start for about half to 3/4 of an hour and then pushed it onto a side road (so we didn't have cars going past a metre away at 110). While we were on the main highway, about 50 metres up from us the cops pulled over a F350 for speeding, and they didn't even come and ask if we needed any help??!! Anyway once I discovered the only place I could get phone reception was about 500 metres away on the top of a very steep sheep paddock, I rang Ben (nawty4) and told him what was goin on and where we were stuck. Ben said that they were all leaving Victor soon (this was around 2-2:30 in the avo) and would stop to lend a hand on their way home. Once Ben and some of the others arrived, Ben called the RAA and it wasn't long before they came out to fix the problem. It turned out that it was crook points.. Somehow they'd broken, so RAA replaced them and we were off on the road.. a little slow but in the end we got home!! A HUGE Thanks to Ben for helping out with the RAA and everything!! - and a HUGE thanks to Lesley who gave us an escort back to Mt Barker! You were awesome girl! So from Haydo and myself, Thanks to everyone who helped out.. that showed true club spirit and being there for each other is what it's all about! It was an awesome day and even though we had an adventure of our own, I can definately say that the SA Rollaclub is an awesome club and everyone was friendly and it was great to catch up with you all!! Next time I will have my 55 on the cruise!! Can't wait for it! KJ
  7. I'll be there with my mate Haydo who'll be driving! Cheers KJ :P
  8. I am actually free that day, so yeah count me in for sure!! Just need to know what time we will arrive back in town, got a party to attend.. can't upset the ladies!! Cheers KJ :sob:
  9. I am keen too but all depends on this date!!!!!! KJ.
  10. I'm up for a catch up sometime or a short cruise too! KJ.
  11. Where do I find this oh soo valuable info?
  12. What's Nikki Carby?
  13. I am looking at a carby for a KE30 and am wondering if a standard carby or a webber carby off a Datsun or Gemini would fit? Is an adaptor plate all that is needed to convert say a webber carbie that came off a Gemini or a standard Datsun carbie to fit a KE30, or will one bolt straight on without any mods required? Let me know. Cheers. KJ.
  14. Correct!! There's some smart people here!
  15. Would it fit a KE55? and where r u located? Cheers.
  16. Thanks a lot for that! Yeah I have a mate who's old man does air con stuff, so I might have a chat to him at some stage! Now all I need is an aircon unit! Cheers KJ.
  17. YAY! Great Decision! Thumbs up from KJ! ;)
  18. I'm like an op shop for anything green.. If it's green and doesn't have a home, I'll take it! So yeah, if your not using the paint.. well you know where to go.. thanks for the hint JiP!!! But nah I seriously suggest you do go green! Green is for GO on the traffic lights, so GO GO GO and get a green Rolla!! KJ.
  19. That's awesome - Green all the way! one of my rolla's is green and I'd paint my others green too if I had the time and the paint to do it! I always associtate Green with "Alive".. Green plants and trees are alive and the new shoots on a tree are lime green too - and after it rains, the garden looks soo much more greener, brighter and Fresher, so Green is a real "FRESH" colour too! It's soo many things why wouldn't you want to have an alive fresh green rolla! and this is coming from someone obsessed with green - who's previous car (falcon) was green all way through.. I even had the green fluffy furr from spotlight on the parcel shelf lol and I used to host a radio show where my nickname was DJGreen! but yeah enough from me - I think you get the point! I am excited to see GREEN and I can't wait to see the car in it's finished state! Cheers KJ ;)
  20. Does anyone know if the needles come off on the temp and fuel gauges in a KE55? Cheers KJ :P
  21. Sounds like a plan! I'm up for it and I'm sure I could encourage a few other guys to come along also! I like the cruise and catch up over a meal Idea better than a long cruise! Cheers KJ :)
  22. I'm thinking more after Christmas and new year, once the busy stuff is ova! January or something like that!
  23. Yeah, well maybe there should be like a BBQ at a park near Semaphore or something like that which will encourage more people to come along, I'm keen to organise a Meet and Greet in the Barossa Valley! There's heaps of Rolla enthusiest here who aren't even Rollaclub members! It would be a great opportunity to get everyone together! If Adelaide members are up for the drive then It's definately a possibility! KJ :)
  24. I'm up for it too! :P
  25. I would like to know too what the diff ratio of the KE50 is, and does anyone know what the tallest diff ratio that came out in a corolla in Australia is? Regards KJ :y:
