Tough one.... You're kinda stuck as far as locally delivered replacements go... The AL25 Tercel is potentially the closest chassis relative (same series) but AU only got those in 4wd so they're out. I would suggest taking some measurements from yours, and comparing them to standard struts from an EL44 Paseo, or even coilovers to suit an EP81 GT starlet.

Seeing as nobody, ever, anywhere, would have done this conversion, I highly doubt you'll find any info to help you. Get the measuring tape, welding gear, and make sure the coolant level in your wallet is topped up because its going to get DAMN hot with all the money flying out of it.

I did Qride... But that was before the laws changed last year.... When I did it, you got your learners at DOT, paid your 350-odd bucks, did two full days training/riding over 2 weekends, and walked away with your open unrestricted licence... None of this RE under 250cc nonsense :) I *think* its similar now, but you can't go directly to unrestricted, you remain on your RE for 6 months or a year before you can apply for the over 250cc licence. Q-ride is just the name of the government program, there are heaps of bike schools who are 'Q-ride certified'.
