  1. Genius.
  2. epon :P 200 pages of random bitching, whining, and assorted emo-ness. Epic on one hand, disappointing on the other...
  3. Because its a Mitsubishi engine, and thus will leak oil persistently, from everywhere, until one day it just spontaneously combusts and melts into a shiny metallic puddle of failure.
  4. Nope... I just spend all my cash on cars :P
  5. Aluminium, plywood, laminex, and awesome.
  6. Because f*ck you, thats why. I own a Chaser, Surf, Prelude, BMW, several rollas... Plus all the perfectly respectable late model cars I have in stock (for sale) at any one time.... and yet I'm excited about picking up my new daily in a couple of weeks.... a 1988 Volvo wagon :bash: People don't understand us, I think :)
  7. There's a lunatic up here who is very ungracefully shoving a 5VZ-FE into an AW11... In a midship-engine vehicle I can see the merit, but hanging a dirty great lump of engine like that ahead of the front wheels is just... dumb. Take the aforementioned V6 626/Telstar/MX6... godawful car to drive. Truly horrendous. Point them into a corner and you carve a nice concentric groove into the road with the radiator support panel and the inside rear wheel hangs in the air doing nothing, like a superfluous testicle.
  8. Boobs = Popularity Maybe you should grow some ;)
  9. Yeeeew one less SV21 clogging up the roads with fail ;)
  10. AC Standard on XX/CSX Option on CS Cruise is for Saudi Arabians and people with no feet.
  11. Now if you were to mid-mount the engine and run a rear transaxle.... THEN I'd be interested :)
  12. I dig Crowns. A lot. There's something about the 60 series too... I mean all Crowns are pimp by default, but the 65's actually look GOOD. The styling and proportions are spot on. Nice score man... very nice indeed. :P
  13. Definitely 5x114.3... offset about +20 from memory.
  14. Not the dodgiest, but possibly the most amusing.... When I was living in Germany I had a busted arse BMW 535i. Manual. Was awesome :) Anyway on a weekend off in the Czech Republic we stupidly left it parked in the 'drunk' district of Prague whilst we went tottering off to eat drink and be merry... When we came back several hours later ALL the side windows had been smashed. Oh and it has been snowing... and was STILL snowing... so not only was the interior half full of ice but the prospect of driving back to Germany with no windows in the middle of a European winter was not an appealing idea. So we found a servo. bought a hobby knife and a roll of 100mph tape, and then found a cafe with those clear plastic curtain thingies to keep the rain out... waited until it closed for the evening.... cut cut, trim trim, tapey tapey, new windows :y:
  15. Amateurs. Engine attached to vehicle with 8 gauge fencing wire, no bolts Broken throttle cable replaced with (stolen) bmx rear brake cable Blown fuses replaced with cigarette packet foil wrapped around blown fuse Cracked diff tube fixed by wrapping in duct tape and making 'splint' out of spanners and yet more fencing wire Tyre with staked sidewall repaired by breaking one bead and stuffing with spinifex grass (it got us home) That will do for the moment
  16. Jaycar have sheets of it too. Cheap cheap.
  17. Somehow I think not. He'd probably waffle on at length about preservation of history and marque purity... At which point most people would be ignoring him and pointing at the rolls saying "Huuuuuuunrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhmmmmuhumunuh"
  18. In the AE9x Seca there are 3 round plastic bungs covering the restraint points, right at the back between the tail lights. The middle one is lower than the other two. You'll spot them.
  19. Have you been going outside without your alfoil hat again? I told you man... They can get inside your brains...
  20. Aaaw man.... :P
  21. About the same. Finding the weber yourself and having it reconditioned may work out to be slightly cheaper.
  22. You need to get under for a looky. Get both front wheels off the ground and support the car on some stands. Check your rack ends by sitting down in front of a wheel turning it a few degrees to the left and right, back and forth. You'll hear the little clunk if they're stuffed. You'll feel it as well. If that's not your problem, grab a prybar and check the usual suspects... CVs, tierods, balljoints, swaybar bushes etc... Also check the strut tops as I've seen a few flogged out before but mostly the rears. Rack end wear is relatively common in the 92's... But that can depend on the K's, and how and where its been driven.
  23. Awesome news! Keep us posted....
  24. Steal Raven's food = Straight into the k-hole, fatty :lolcry:
