  1. Man these are such a pain in the arse to fault... well not really, but there's a method. The glow timer relay is behind the passenger kick panel, but don't go replacing it just yet. First... Chuck a test light on the bridging strap between the glow plugs and hit the ignition. No current = problem closer to the relay. Next... Check for current between the terminals of the plug which connect to the glow plug resistor. The resistor is the large sensor right beside the oil filler cap. Got current? Check the glow plugs themselves. Next check for continuity of the resistor itself. One probe on the END of the sensor, one on the brass section closer to the engine, after the plastic insulator ring. Now if that test indicates an open circuit, the resistor is shagged and is essentially telling the glow relay that the engine is already warm and glow plugs aren't needed. Replace. If that doesn't give you any joy, then its most likely the relay. Best of luck finding one at a reasonable price :P
  2. Why is a duck
  3. Yeah you can... Just read it again, but backwards. :(
  4. Lame. Most likely knocked up by an attention seeking ex employee. Hope they find him, charge him with libel and fraud, and send him to do a little time. Little princess will get plenty of attention then... mostly in the showers, and mostly from the analrapists.
  5. No, its not :P
  6. Thats a Subaru Vivio... And it is actually a factory works rally car. 660cc, supercharged, AWD, awesome :P
  7. It'll be the glow relay. They shit themselves with alarming regularity. Mine did...
  8. Looks like something a 12 year old would design in the back of his exercise book during maths class
  9. I approve of this eXcel much more than I approve of Redwarf's :)
  10. I've lost count of how many of these repugnant little kimchi scented jellybeans I've gone through now... :)
  11. Behold http://www.billzilla.org/AE863SGE.htm Obviously this conversion is an AE86, but the fundamentals are the same. You'll have to convert the KE to hydraulic clutch first, but other than that the conversion should be very similar.
  12. Yeah Aus built BW garbage... Bin it If it runs, give it a viking funeral :)
  13. mmm not really.... is reverse in the usual spot down to the right or up to the left
  14. From ANYWHERE else though, expect to pay no more than one carton of beer. Two if its been degreased and has a shiny rocker cover.
  15. Yes, and he's going to eat all your remote controls and loose change.
  16. Unfortunately they don't make them in 13" any more... Only 14" and 15" They list them as S330 and S340 but they are still eagers, and still have the white lettering.
  17. Eagers? They're cheap as chips :) They were the tyre of choice for 50% of hoons back in the old days... The other 50% had Kelly Charger HR's :(
  18. By aggressive, do you mean thrashy at low rpm and coarse at high rpm? :)
  19. Dear lord. My most hated of all automotive related jobs. Ammonia + Heat gun + razor scraper + much cursing and gnashing of teeth
  20. Awesome :) Its amazing when you think about it... In a Solar system where temperatures range thousands of degrees, from absolute zero to this balmy little sunside oasis at 2300 odd degrees, the temperature range in which we carbon based squishy things can exist is almost impossibly small. Its a wonder we exist at all :(
  21. Apparently walking is illegal in Melbourne. Everyone shuffles instead. $70 fine for uncoolwalking.
  22. That's because where you live, I hunt down all the good ones and harass the owners incessantly until they sell them to me :P
  23. I have Autotechnicas... They bolt up and are ADR approved but yes, you still need the modplate. My RWC guy didn't know that, but a friendly policeman was nice enough to call the DOT whilst he had me pulled over and clarified the matter.
