TE27s look so good because they are TE27s, you can't get the same look from a KE20 cause the roof is higher and the little rear window bit isnt as sporty. i think wide(ish) JDM style rims do look good on KE20s but you need to keep them in the guards because flares look shithouse on KE20s. i had the same plan as you when i got my KE20 and after a while i came to the conclusion that it wasnt going to work... so i bought a KE25 as well and that is slowly coiming together

that centre console is awesome man. I'm sick of using the gap between my seat and the door for a drink holder so i might give that a go.

the only other cars with 4x110 PCD i can think of were the old mazdas. i think they changed the stud pattern around the series 2 RX7 so anything earlier than that should have the correct PCD but i don't know about the offset. EDIT: i think the 4x108 rims are from some euro car and ive heard they can snap studs. personally i wouldnt use them.

check the US ebay. there is a guy on there that has copied his original TE27 metal flares and they a shitload better than the thai ones. they are the ones i will be getting. can anyone put up a pic of their flared KE25?? styler??

i havent experienced a stock 3tc or a stock 4age. but my KE20 with 3t that has cams and extractors isnt even in the same league as my KE25 with 4AGE with cams and extractors.... the 4a would eat the 3t for breakfast in NA form.... given the choice though id much rather drive the 3t powered KE20 daily, its a torquey little engine that will pull up any hill without complaining and if something goes wrong its such a simple engine to work on, or replace. i can easily drive around in peak hour traffic and only use 3rd gear, it will take off in 3rd and pull up to about 80 before i change to 4th so its like driving an auto sometimes. the 4a on the other hand is a bitch in traffic, but once the traffic opens up she will pull to 130 in 2nd and sound like a champ while doing it... like i said, not even in the same league. if you want a 3t with decent power you need to turbo it. there are guys getting 500hp+ out of boosted 3t' but i doubt you'll find a worked NA 3t with half that much power.

if its a street car in Hobart than i definitely wouldnt be using an oil cooler.

if you wanna hear a nice 3t go to youtube and search "3tc turbo" and you'll find at least four or five drag cars doing 8 or 9 second runs. they are pushing 30lb or more of boost into these engines in the states and getting good results. yeah i don't like the wheels on that one either. the wheels I'm using are 13x7 on the front and 13x8 on the back, you need to have the right wheels to pull of the JDM look. the lip i got off ebay from a guy in Thailand who makes them, the quaility is pretty good and the price is good but the guy is a bit slow and i don't think he speaks english cause he doesnt reply to any messages.

there are a few around Jordan, and a few being built. my KE25 is on the way to old school JDM pimpness, ive got the wide SSR mark 2s that i need to polish, a front lip, its already got fender mirrors and once K-Rudd sends me my god damned money ill import some TE27 flares. once i have all the parts ill save for a respray and get the flares put on and then it will look like this, but with better wheels and painted silver, and lower

last night around midnight there was a car crash right out the front of my place, right near my god damned window. it was only a little bingle, just a landcruiser tapping the back of a barina enough to do some damage but noone was hurt. i got up and went outside to make sure everyone was alright and they were fine so i went back to sleep. that was the most exciting thing that has ever happened on my street

i have two perfectly straight KE25 doors. if you would like to purchase them it could be arranged.

its bullshit that the charges come out straight away. i can live with the fact that they take $2 if you use another banks ATM but that amount should be added to your fees, not taken out straight away. it pisses me off because i have two accounts that i use, one of them is cashed up and the other one is usually less than $200 and that is the account with a bank card, the other account i can't touch unless I'm at a computer. by only leaving myself with $200 i don't go and waste money very often, especially on the weekends. but lately i have had exactly $50 in the account and there arent any St George banks close so i use any old ATM and they take the $2 out of the account leaving me with $48 which i can't withdraw!!! so then i withdraw $40 and it costs me another $2. one thing i did notice is that NAB only charge $1.50 to use their ATMs. whichever bank is the first to come out and say they are going to scrap the charges will be my new bank.

i have heard of someone using hilux bolts before because they were longer, i think i read that on Toymods so maybe go on toymods and do a search to see what comes up.
