i don't think it will be the engine mount causing you the problem, i had a mate with an old datto and the only thing holding his engine in place was gravity. i know my engine shakes a lot when the timing goes out or i have a problem with spark, ive always found it was the distributor *** things up

ive got fender mirrors as well and prefer them to the old door mirrors i had because the mirror isnt in the corner of your eye, its right there at the front where you are looking most of the time. but i check my blind spot religiously anyway, even if I'm driving on the freeway at midnight and i know there is noone around i just look over my shoulder out of habit.

i couldnt find a "spotted" thread so this will have to do. this morning i seen a red and orange KE70 drift pig with yellow and red paint job, a roll cage and i think it was a massive front mount, i only caught it in the corner of my eye but i liked it. this was near the airport. also seen a bluey green coloured KE30 last week around east lakes, it had dark tinted windows, wheels and it sounded like a worked K motor. i was two cars behind and i only got to have a good look when he turned right. on saturday i seen a nice yellow KE20 cruising up Queen victoria st in Bexley, they might have seen my KE20 parked in the driveway. and at least once a month i will spot a light green coloured KE10 (maybe 11, i dunno) around the alexandria/mascot area and if he spots me first he always flashes his lights. its a mad car and the driver must be a rolla nut as well. anyone from here own any of those rollas??

my exhaust is on my engineers certificate (NSW) and they had a picture of how they set up the mic and stuff. ill dig the certifiticate out and see how they measure the noise

i work every sunday but if i get out early enough ill bring my KE20 and my mate with a KE25 is keen to come as well.

any news on the supercharged 3tc?? I'm in the process of making my 3tc fuel injected, once that is done I'm planning on supercharging it.

my 3tc used to do the same thing. hook up a timing light and see what the timing is doing, it should be around 10 BTDC, maybe 8 if you guys have pollution gear which i think you do. but just check the timing and set it at 10, go for a drive with a couple of tools in your pocket and just adjust it on the side of the road until you are happy with the way the car drives. EDIT: if you still have the problem after the timing and you want to set the idle mixtures etc let me know because i have a US 3tc manual that is probably more helpful to you than it is to me so i will write up the procedure.

my flatmate took out her 06 WRX headlights to paint some part black and she broke one in the process, cost her USD 350 for a replacement lol... i like your tail-lights, I'm not a massive fan of any rollas past the 70s but i do like your car, its heaps clean and all the mods are tasteful. keep up posted with your progess

that is exactly what i thought when i seen the front end, it reminds me of an E30 front end. and i dig it as well, can't wait to see the whole kit and wheels and everything coming together.

if your gonna get superlites than i reckon bolt on flares and some fender mirrors would look tough as with that front lip. the wheels will need to be wide enough to fill the flares though otherwise it doesnt look right IMO. it will look like a tough little touge mobile then
