thanks i dunno how i managed to miss that one lol. i probably heard Honda instead of Hyundai when i was buying my car which is why i always thought i had Honda seats but never knew what sort and couldnt find ANY that matched. if i had have known they were excel seats i would have replaced my chocolate stained passenger seat ages ago :(

i have no idea but the guys at toyota3tc.com might be able to help, i know a few guys on there have boosted 3T's. ive got a 3T in my KE20 so i'll be interested to see how this pans out. keep us posted with your progress.

yeah dude get the 72 and put the 3T in your Te27. don't TE27s already have a 2T?? what gearbox are they running?? you can get crazy power from those 3Ts and you are in the right part of the world to do it. i can't say i have ever seen a quick 3T in Australia but ive seen some 600hp examples in the states and BDR or BRD racing have heaps of parts and knowledge about that engine. i got my KE20 out of luck really. i was looking for a cheap FWD car to use daily, i wanted FWD because at the time i was 21 or something and i was a menace so i figured FWD was best for me cause i wouldnt be tempted to kick out the back end in the wet and end up losing my license. i couldnt find any FWD cars that i liked in my budget and an old guy at work was talking about the corolla he bought for his daughter but she wanted something faster. the guy at work already had 3 people looking at the car that day so i made him drive me to his place to look at the car and i bought it there on the spot. at first i hated the car cause it bought me bad luck, within the first two weeks the front windshield miraculously smashed all of a sudden and the alternator shit itself. both of those were fixed easily and since then she really hasnt caused any problems for me, even when my GF drove it around with the oil light on for a week it kept on going.

if people are naive to car prices that is their own fault, all it takes is five minutes on a car forum to find out the true value of a car. you want an RX3, go to sickrotars.com and ask what they are worth, you want a rolla you come here, the majoirity of people on forums are decent people who will help out and you probably wouldnt even have to sign up to the forum, I'm sure there would already be theads you could read. i know an old dude who lives from the money he makes by buying cheap runabouts and getting them roadworthy and then selling them off to young people on their Ps. he doesnt rip people off though, the mods he does are to improve reliability and safety, not to look fully sick cuz

ive got seats from a honda something something in mine

that looks nice but its not just the wheels that look nice. to have a car look that nice you need a wicked paint job, engine, interior and some decent suspension. if you arent commited to doing the whole package then you end up with a half arsed car with blingy wheels and we have all seen what that looks like, just check out the next VL you see and chances are it will be in that category. i think if you want big wheels make sure you do it right.

id increase it to 15s but i don't mind that law too much, the width part sux though. but it would stop people from putting 20s on their stock hiluxs

thats what i was thinking. A ke55 looks a lot nicer stock than a KE70 and if its just a daily driver you don't want to be spending bucketloads of cash just to get a nice looking KE70. i do like a nice KE70 though, specially with some 8 inch wide 15s and dumped on its arse, but that costs cash and a daily isnt meant to be a money pit. for a track car id take the KE70 but for driving day to day or 1/4 mile beast id take the 55 because its old school and not just an old car, if that makes sense. EDIT: should read the whole thing first. nice choice dude, she looks clean and hopefully the rust wont cause you too much of a headache

try the US ebay, they have a shitload more TE72 stuff and 3Tc stuff than we have and the US dollar is shit at the moment so take advantage of it while you can

correct. TE27 is our KE25 with a 2T motor. TE21 is our KE20 with a 2T motor. I'm pretty sure thats right. i guess the T is the motor but no idea why the numbers change. anyone know??

ive got a set of 13x6 hotwires i don't need, they are probably too small for you though. also gonna have a spare set of these (challengers??) in a week or two, the ones in the pics are 14x7 but the front rub a tiny bit when I'm on a slope so ive got a set of 14x6s coming. thats means i will have a pair of 14x6 for the front and 14x7 for the back for sale soon if anyone is interested.

i got my license just before all the red Ps green Ps bullshit. Ls test i did first go and Ps test first go. i grew up in a small town though so the test was pretty damn easy, i did my reverse park in one move and she told me it was fine and the hill start was not exactly a hill but more like a bump in the road, mind you i learnt how to drive in a corona on a farm at the age of 13 so i could always control a car i just needed to learn the rules and get used to driving with a windscreen.

how does it go with the weber?? ive got a 3Tc with extractors in my KE20 but the stock carb is dogs balls so I'm thinkin of upgrading. they arent a bad engine i reckon, mine was abused by my ex girlfriend (oil light on for weeks) and it still turns over every morning and pulls me up every hill without complaining.
