JONO, did the turbo run out of puff up in the rev's and such? i know the one i have is small but it should be responsive, steel wheel and bb for $100 who am i to complain? no shaft play either

yeah si it is an aftermarket gtr turbo, every thing was hks (manifold turbo, dumps ect) what i want to achieve when its turbo it to come onto boost like a slap in the face

hey guys after an opinion on what pistons to get with my rebuild kit, i have the option of wiseco forged pistons to suit 4age or 4agze, plans for the engine it to rebuild it and run it NA untill i have every thing sorted then fit turbo (HKS T28) and aftermarket computer ect, i could get 4agze pistons and shave the head to bring the compression back up to near stock then i have to source a new head once the turbo goes on (allows me to build a decent head with cams and such) 4age pistons and run a decomp plate 4age pistons and keep the boost lowish and still be drivable off boost thanks guys :blush: also its a smallport if it makes any different

yeah it is true that spool are making 5k rods allong with Holden 202 Suzuki Swift Mitsubishi Magna 3.5 L Holden Commodore V6 Toyota 1UZ Toyota 22R Ford 4.0 Lite ( EL - EF ) i will be getting one of there rebuild kits shortly

about an inch, cut the part that holds the bolt for the lock stop out, how are yours going? driven on them much?

coilovers done and in there, its very low, jacked up and the tire sits an inch from the guard, flaring and cutting the guards for max low and castor today my old man if having a crack at running the loom aswell booked in for exhaust on monday, its a 2.1/4 mandrel bent with a lukey stainless packed and bodied race muffler and possibly a resonator up the back, twin 2.1/4 45deg upswept stainless tips, had some issues with steeing knuckles yeasterday, i cut and shut them and i welded one and dad welded the other, the one i did simpley snapped but we could tell why with the snap, so we veed them out again and hit them with the welder up as hot as it would go, very very beefy now, did a test with a spare one and held it in the vice, belted it with the sledge and it wouldnt budge, good enough till i can get ps ones or nigel cut n shuts i will get some pics asap

ke55 lca's are the same as corona, and ta22 struts because ae86 ones are way overpriced and over rated yeah si, i polished it and all, plus dads done all the fiddely shit and made it look half respectable, nick is wiring it some time soon so no doubt it will be a top notch job :) thanks for all the possitive comments

it cost me $1200 for a engine, no clutch, no leads, come with a rwd loom, box, near bare parts car for engine x member, ecu, radiator pipes, coil and ignighter, and thats about it, cheap yeah, but i have spent over $2500 just in little parts, every thing adds up. its a 100kw smallport btw leigh; there sitting here, waiting for you to buy

i love ke70's with 14"s. but this, its just awesome, looks really tuff on those wheels, i would stick with the paint, candy paint is abit over the top, each to there own and a big thumbs up. +1 for loving it

st141 you may have ment, don't go with these as they have a different stub axle angle and will make it have positive camber, go for any thing corona or celica earlyer then that, pre 82 really

the way i see it is any thing that doesnt run an intercooler doesnt run a bov, like 3tgte's, maxima's vl's, put an intercooler on and you get flutter/does. i have had a turbo setup with no intercooler and a bov, it blew off, blocked it off and made some retarted noise, put in a cooler and dosage come, each to there own

not evering turbo has a waist gate aswell, we have a truck thas no bov, intercooler or waist gate, its diesel but belive me there is no waist gate if you want to make noise why not run no bov? unless there plum back there ilegal,
