  1. Pretty much any jive turkey wearing a v neck tshirt, canvas shoes, black rimmed glasses and a piss poor attempt for a beard. Yep. Look up diet coke and fibromyalgia You're listening to the wrong stuff. And as for "live" I saw Snoop play at a festival a few years back. I was never a big fan, but when I saw his 3 djs working like mad men on stage, sweat pouring off them I was pretty impressed. And for anyone who wants to trolley out the the old djs just play other people's music how hard can it be, put your money where your mouth is and go see mix master mike live.
  2. Those wheels are off the wall. I love them, wish I could get 14 inch 110's.
  3. I found with my DHLA G's there is a lot less functionality on them than other dellorto's. Early dell's you can actually balance each individual throat, but these ones have the ports blocked so they obviously managed this a different way.
  4. Yes, correct on both counts. the actual extra clamp force probably isn't that impressive beacause the moment arm is so small. if I didn't have homework I would have calculated it *procrastinating* After all the effort that goes into reducing rotating mass, well this genius idea just offset all the weight you shaved off your flywheel. and the fact that these things slide, as well as that retainer ring, it's all a nasty setup to balance.
  5. I could help if I knew the specifics of what you're trying to do, for sure.
  6. holy mackerel what is that ugly looking red thing in the last pic! That is one awesome ride. Edit: Datsun F10, man I'm pretty good at picking cars but I have never, ever seen one of those.
  7. Beware folks this dude is causing a lot of grief for us. I would suggest anyone looking to buy AE71 pedal boxes exercise a lot of caution, this scammer spotted fumeck's wanted ad and contacted him directly. He's shifty and definitely committed to ripping people off.
  8. Sorry to say mate it sounds like another Mickey scam. Can you please pm me all the details of the sale, how you got in contact, when, etc.
  9. What a shit idea. A heavier pressure plate spring would be much better and wouldn't cause so many damn balancing issues.
  10. White walls SA and aces white walls.
  11. I don't think he's saying that, he's just astounded (as have I) that it's done over a million k's! whatever you do, don't tell the insurance company it's done that much.
  12. 5mph pedestrian impact bumper laws. The only reason old 911's have those accordion's on the bumper. This thing rules and I love the opposite lock picture. Keep the updates rolling squidbits.
  13. I put in the cut loop carpet, not the loop pile, so it was easy to cut with a nice sharp stanley knife and you don't pull threads out etc. I didn't have too much difficulty putting it in, some daggy bits around the sill that I need to trim (4 years later) but all in all, easy enough. my foot pad didn't line up too well either, but I use a rubber mat anyway.
  14. maybe a silly question, but are they actually webers? Or Dellortos or solexes?
  15. yeh I always thought there were 3 anderson plugs.
  16. theyre the same. Maybe slightly different pickups etc but basically the same units and will bolt in.
  17. To be perfectly honest mate, nothing we can tell you about the value of cars in Australia will have any relevance for you. Brand new cars for you can be anywhere from 50 to 65% more expensive over here. As for classics, a mid 70's 911 will sell in the states for 15k. The same car over here will fetch 35k. Given our dollar is about at parity, it's like for like $ wise. As for corolla's, I gather they're a hell of a lot rarer but would be worth less than here.
  18. mate unfortunate as it is, I would have to say you came off much better than it sounded like from your first post. Definitely a recoverable repair. If you can get a front fender and a new (aussie spec) bumper, you're 70% there. You want aussie bumpers, they don't have the ugly overriders on them
  19. I looked at the ITG and Pipercross units, much more expensive and I don't think the pipercross was going to fit in the KE10 engine bay, it may in a Ke20 Very cool looking unit though
  20. there are a couple of sites that explain jet and emulsion tube sizing on the net, I can't recall their address right now. It's a fairly straightforward calculation. BUT If you really want results, just find a good dyno tuner with a stash of jets and let them sort it all out. Best 300 bucks you'll ever spend.
  21. I have these, have a look in my KE16 wagon thread below, you can see how they fit. http://www.uniflow.com.au/contents/en-us/d136.html I had them made to 36mm high, and the foam does touch the strut tower, but it doesn't hit the cage. I'm pretty happy with them, I should really give them a clean though.
  22. there's two ke18s in that by the look of it.
  23. Wgmg. People pushing the Quote button on a post with 15 pictures in it, but not actually responding to anything particular in the quoted post. Thus doubling the number of pics on display.
