  1. It will have no performance improvement on a stock motor. Its only necessary if your cam has been changed, because cams can often run higher lifts, the spring rate needs to be changed to match the cam.
  2. Mate Hate to be the first to say it, this thread is 6 years old and the guy you're after hasn't been online for 4 years. Might be best trying a PM on the off chance it sends him an email.
  3. The last hard brake line I had made was from the junction on the diff to the drum, a few bends and a flare nut each end, it cost me 8 bucks. Don't skimp and use fuel line.
  4. It's all good. The jdm craze will die off again and they'll get cheap. I would love a set of toscos or Riverges though on the wagon.
  5. I have a suspicion he means overcome/disengage? Is your handbrake stuck on Alexey? You are right, google translator is not that good :)
  6. Bingo. More money spent will improve the product and make it much more accessible. A 2-3kw system would have cost you 30k ten years ago. Are you serious Jip?
  7. Wow that's pretty damn good. Suspect that's cumulative credit though?
  8. I guess you're going to tear the plug out (ie destroy it) when you're done?
  9. I'm also going to point out that the tyres on that ke20 are ridiculously small.
  10. So what are you actually working as? A met? I spend my days working with mining engineers and Mets and if I didn't do !ech, I reckon metallurgy would have kept me happy enough. In short, yes. I'm not on the tools or anything, but I spent the last 4 years in construction. Did an expansion of a hydro metallurgical process plant, nothing cooler than a 600 tonne crawler crane lifting 150 tonne tanks into place. Then I worked on a shit farm construction job, also a great job. My previous job I spent lots of time designing, then building and testing prototypes. Good fun.
  11. Publica utes. Wicked. Close enough as well. Don't have pics of the colt, havent seen him in a fair while.
  12. A mate of mine has a topless colt. It's wicked. Purple!
  13. Well that works out to 170 horsepower using injector maths. If you can run your k engine hard enough to starve you're doing pretty damn good.
  14. Shortening the shackles is a daft idea.when the spring compresses the leaf extends, the shackle is designed to take up that growth. Taking 50mm out of them will have very hilarious consequences, although not for you. For us. Eyelet reversal is easy to calculate final drop. Diameter of bush + top leaf thickness. Simple. Don't ask me what those values are.
  15. First and second are pretty full on. Once you get through the theory heavy stiff and into the ,ore applied stuff youll be right. Plus, civil is the easiest of the lot haha!
  16. You'll be up for a bomb to reface I reckon. diff noise might be fixed with a reshimming, but you'll be up for 500-1000 I suspect. Hunt around for a new diff and you might find a set of gears in better nick.
  17. Keep in mind every sparco I've sat in is for skinny arsed blokes. I'm 6 2 and not that solid but sparcos are tight as. Velo were a much nicer fit and ADR approved.
  18. I run a stock pump without a single problem. Twin dellorto's running 4psi and 68rwkw. Never had any reason to suspect they're running out of juice at the top end.
  19. More than likely yes!
  20. Hmm this might mean that getting hold of a Publica ST is more possible than I thought....
  21. I thought car shopping was going to be a battle of the titans between the wife and I trying to agree. Turns out she wants one more than I do hahaha!
  22. Check out jalopyjournal.com there is a tech article on how to reverse spring eyelets DIY style. A blowtorch, hammer, some chalk and hard yakking should do if for squat.
  23. I want to get an HPI firestorm just for doing jumps and so on and tearing up the dirt. But I should just get my nitro sport going.
  24. What model shocks, what car are they from, what'd you pay etc?
