Hi there mate, i hate fuel troubles! lol! yes there is suppose to be a rubber 'O' ring that sits between the sender and the tank, obviously when the sender is pulled out of the car, you can see where it sits on the underside of the sender! roughly 2.5 inches in diametre. hope this helps!

  15. hi there D.Mckiggan, ive already had the engine sorted out in the cam shafts depaertment, on my engine they have 4 different location points on each cam shaft, too a while but they got the timing correct with them, also i don't suppose you could email me a copy of the info on the timing setup? like the tensioners and runners? ive only ever played around with k motors, t series engines are completely new to me, thakyou.
  16. the early ke30 (74, 75, 76), i have only seen a handfull with factory black trimmed seats, either that or they have gone to alot of trouble to re-cover the seats in black, correct me if I'm wrong?

  19. Ive already tried sourcing 18r-g sprockets as well, no luck, everywhere i went they said to me that they don't produce them anymore, or either I'm not searching hard enough?
  20. the timing chain is brand new, at times it rattles that bad its scary! :)
  21. Hey all, long story cut short, i just put a 3t-g into my ke30, the engine has been completely rebuilt EXCEPT the only items they couldnt buy brand new were- >cam gears >timing chain guides They said they were in good enough condition to reuse. Problem is when i drive the car 100km distance or so, the timing chain loses tension, so i have to adjust the tensioner to take the slack of the timing chain, and now after doing this several times i have run out of adjustment on the tensioner and can't be done anymore. what do i do?????????? what keeps causing this????????????? is the new chain wearing itself to suit the old sprokets????????? Any thoughts, ideas, feedback would be greatly appreciated in helping me solve this problem! Thanks!!!!!!
  22. hey there, ive done this a million times, just go down to DOT with the car, ask for the form where you can change the cars "particulars", eg. engine number, colour etc, (not exactly sure the exact name of the form is) fill it out and hand it in, it doesnt cost a thing.
