haha thanks mate! i'v finally got the car ready for rwc/rego, spent all weekend finishing everything off, pity I'm going interstate all of this week for work so i havta wait till the week after before i can get it registered :(. but then its going straight too my mates to get resprayed n should come back looking good as new! n I'm gonna order a set of charcoal superlites to go with it once all the body n that is done :y:. can't wait.

just an update, still hvn't gotten the farkin thing registered yet, just finishing afew little things first, fixed the tailgate tonight finally after putting it off for so long lol, the torsion bars on the setup that came with the car had snapped so the gate wouldn't hold itself up. took it all out and swapped everything from my panelvan, painted the hinges up n shit n put it all back 2gether just before, works like a dream now! I'm wrapped, was beginning to be a pain holding the c**t up with a pole lol. just need to make up some door pulls, replace the rear wheel cylinders n shes all ready to get registered. i got my fender mirrors 2 which ill fit when i get it registered, then its off to get the body fixed up/painted :yes:. heres a pic from before.

f@$k yeh, thats why my next set of rims for the wagon are gonna be charcoal/grey. I'm thinking B45's of Challengers.

i'd have to disagree also, my old white ke20 got massive amounts of attention when i had it on the stocko hubbies with whitewalls, venetians and nana sunvisor, mainly because people just didn't see that sort of thing around my area. when i got my new wagon and put the nana visor, hubbies n shit on it n took it for its first drive down to the servo i got so much attention it was bizarre. i haven't taken it out since then. u can't deny that the traditional look of hubbies/whitewalls etc isn't eye catching. i also don't mind the look of 17's (nothing bigger however) on older rollas, if its done tastefully. which sadly alot of people can't pull off :yes:.

i should beable to bring the car down to the start of it for a look, whether its registered or not lol.

imo your celica looked tough as guts in the first pics, without all the kit and "racing jacket" stuff on it. just looks trashy too me, but maybe its cos i don't understand the whole "JDM" thing, but oh well, i love that model celica. enjoy it :yes:.

hey guys, I'm gonna be ordering some wheels from Simmons for my daily but I'm not sure what the ideal offset would be for my ke26? the wheels will be 15x6". i know the stud pattern is 4x110 but have no idea on the offset. i tried searching but didn't realy come up with any clear answers. cheers.

they look pretty cool! whats with the white stuff around the edge of the mirror glass? or is that just a protecting cover for the glass :S. i got some fender mirrors for my ke26, haven't put them on yet, cost me abit more than the ones u got tho. mine where $180. they look exactly like the ones in this pic below.

Hey guys, needing afew little bits n pieces to get my wagon roadworthy, such as needing a new drivers seat belt as its all torn/frayed, replacing one of the rear drum wheel cylinders and I'm needing inner door handles as i haven't got any, just screws in the door lol. where would be the best place to get the seat belt fixed? or can u buy replacement items? also where can i get wheel cylinders from? or would i need to get my current one resealed/rebuilt? and does anyone know who supplies flexible strap door handles? i ordered some from ebay from some knob in QLD but they snapped in half the second i used them, $65 down the drain and i never heard back from the c**t again :poke:. any help would be appreciated as I'm wanting to get my car on the road soon as possible cheers!

got my new plates in the mail today, i love gettin new stuff lol. my car is still at the mechanics, i left it there all weekend for them to tinker with it, since i was going away for the w/e anyway. hopefully get it back in afew days tho, then i can go get it registered n finally drive the carnt. bought some repro RX3 mazda fender mirrors for it cos they look badass which should be arriving in the mail sometime near the end of the week. can't wait to bolt em on! still need to get hte body n shit fixed up but i just wanna get the c**t registered first, n drive it for a lil bit. will get some new pics once its all registered and i have the plates/mirrors on it.

I'm in the eastern suburbs, wantirna. i don't really mind where i have to go to get it done, as long as its still in the melbourne general area, ballarat is slightly too far for me :cool:.

hey guys, needing some assitance with my ke26 wags, wanting to give the body a freshen up (just the exterior) as its got afew dints and scrapes here and there, particularly the passenger side which has scrapes all down the side like someone has scraped a pole and the rear drivers quarter where the panel has been pushed in a lil bit. basically i wanna get the body all nice n straight n get some surface rust repaired n get it resprayed in the original colour, not after a show car as its my daily, just want it to look more presentable than it does atm. anyone know of anyone that culd do a cheap respray n fix the panel damage for me in melbs?? let me know, cheers.

lol bmw's are a whole different world, those things are horrible to work on. audi's are slightly more forgiving atleast :lolcry:.

finally got the car all back 2gether, took it for a quick spin just before, steers like a new car now, feels great. gonna get a wheel alingment n shit done tommorow n taking it to our mechanic to get afew things fixed as i haven't got time to do it at home n it will be all ready to get registered. ordered my plates for it just before, so hopefully they come somtime next week :lolcry:. felt good to drive it again lol.

I'm an audi mechanic, i suppose if u can work on euro trash and keep ur sanity u can work on anything, lol.

cool thanks benzo, ill try track down some centre caps, looks killer on that dudes ke30. haha ye I'm abit iffy buying those things from spain straight up, gona do a lil bit of research first, don't wanna get burned! i got my trim rings from Rare Spares, but u can get em from autobarn n places like that. come in 13,14,15". gonna order some plates for it most likely on monday, i wanna get KEWAGN, there still available which is sweet :yes:.
