  1. Ahh sorry about that I forgot to mention the shave or slice as i like to call it. We ran 10.2:1CR
  2. Now from memory my KE20 use to have a balanced and blue printed 3K, 4K head with HD valve springs and larger valves, and a really agressive cam. Power would come on really strong about 5,000rpm and would still be pushing hard at 10,500rpm with no valve bounce. However it only lasted 3,500 km's and died as a result of cracked pistons and rings. Some aftermarket pistons and rings may have told a better story.
  3. You don't need to re-jet SU's, they will work on stocko 3K even if they were used on a Datsun L28. Thie thing about SU's is that unlike a regular carby they work on a vaccum set up, so rejetting is unneccessary.
  4. It may be a good idea while one is at it to box section the whole arm to minimalise flex

Please keep safe, and God bless you all. If anyone would like to visit my address is 18 Vintage Avenue, Hackham, South Australia. My phone numbers are (08) 8382 3253 or 0431 321 783. 11. toymods closed their .org.au site and have reopened as toymods.net
  12. Not all 7K are injected, there is one in a commercial wrecker in SA that is carby, for memory they wanted about $750. Its a low Km motor with 12 month waranty. I think place is called Oriental Commerical Dismantlers. But the 7K is wider though so you may have to mod the engine mounts, may be trim a few mm from each mount and reweld, or you could do a few tests first. Would love to hear how these things go in. Just think 150Nm of torque (Drool drips on keyboard)
  13. I gotta give this a go. Time to get money, then rolla, then turbo, then the ability to put it all together
