  1. ok havent updated for a while but since last update have finished off the brakes and oil cooler kit minus a small oil leak i will get onto asap, will post up pics during the week, will put up pics of exhaust brake lines and cooler
  2. and do a compression and leak down test , check ignition timing also
  3. so you still have no injector pulse? if so that why you can't rev it and it dies, there are only so many things in an efi system that can cause the problem you have, you have spark so forget that system, focus on your ecu and the connections having anything to do with injector pulse, i.e. double check your 12v injector wires and test continuity between injector grounds and ecu, when i did my engine conversion the injectors were stuck closed due to sitting so long but i think you already tested that....... i ran it on aerostart for a while and it freed them up then got them cleaned once i new there was no major wiring issues

  7. i couldve done that for ya had you told me you wanted it under the car lol its a good system, you wont be able to use that surge tank if you do that, youl have to use the other one you got plus find room for it, and the lift pump, under the car plus fill in the holes we drilled and redo some of the wiring... big job, OR enclose the fuel system in perspex with a vent to under the car, much easier AND cheaper
  8. prob 200, then all you need to do is find a tuner that can do nisedit or if your in brisbane i can get my mate who fitted the daughterboard to tune it for you, he has years of dyno experience, just started up his business called profile autosports, uses CMR's dyno to tune on
  9. no worries, i am goin microtech soon so if you want the stock computer (new daughterboard fitted, can be tuned) and AFM let me no and we can work something out
  10. nice buy man, il tell ya now don't put a thicker head gasket on, one you don't need it and two it makes the car a pig to drive off boost and laggy as f@$k my mate that i bought all my conversion stuff off had either a 1.8 or 2mm head gasket in it and it was craptacular when i drove his, stick to a stocko one! mine has a std one in it and its wicked, make sure you get the head skimmed and clean the block up with a gasket grinder as best as possible.

  12. looks sick mate, how hard was it to get the cooler piping under the lights like that? not sure how different ae to te front ends are but i went around the bottom of the front panel with mine and up under the battery panel/through the drivers front guard bit...
  13. you don't need to mini-tub them, just ask mungi mods lol, i have seen a ke70 on you tube that has a blown v8 in it but I'm not sure if its tube chassis or just tubbed on the std body

  17. cheers mate, nah I'm just gona do the turbo drain for the moment and see how it goes, its not gona be show quality because its gona get knocked around a bit so i don't mind it being a dif colour in the engine bay and shit but i am gona paint it red... btw for those following i just got my exhaust done 3" from turbo back no mufflers or cats its f@$kin loud as i love it lol, will post pics soon, next on the list is wiring up the microtech lt10s

  23. wow can't believe this has been brought back to the top, suspension is all stocko apart from springs, onnly plans i have are new shocks and get it running better, made 101hp atw with 10:1 afr's, running very rich
  24. nice work mate looking good, i have a ae82 sedan with a silvertop 20v, not as clean as yours but it does the job lol... mine made 101hp atw with 10:1 AFR's so i still got a bit to get out of it. this thread makes me want to clean mine up a bit but I'm preoccupied with the drift car atm.
  25. ok update time, finally got my rear springs and height adjusters so they are in now, car is all primed up ready to be painted next week, seats are in and booked in to get exhaust done in 2 weeks,gettin there slowly. enjoy also started it this morning for the first time in like 8 months lol
