My Birthday today and my HKS cam gears are sitting at the courier depot, I just want them already!! Cars going to stay N/A for the time being and the motor is going to my mates house for a forged bottom end and nitrous kit :)

Sounds good, you sourced another car yet? Yeah I'm taking my time with mine now, i've starting purchasing all the HKS gear to use on my head Then its GZE bottom end with forgies and turbo etc

You'll probably beat me with your project Shaun haha

New aim is to build up the head with the HKS gear, Cams and springs to come, and eventually drop the head onto a GZE bottom end or just swap the good bits over, Cam gears will be here on the 22nd!

Very nice mate, motor looks pretty tidy. Just a few questions :D How much clearance between the top of the turbo and the bonnet? What Manifold are you using? Computer? What turbo is it running? And finally, GZE block or N/A block?

Shaun, come and check mine out one arvo dude, you'll find the wiring is probably one of the easiest parts, i sat the loom down and labeled everything for when I'm ready to put it in, and I'm going to run the lights and wipers etc on a separate circuit.

I'm good mates with him, he's doing the mounts in mine, Your car has a T50 gearbox in it mate I don't think many people would have seen it, i only know it because of the GOD1.8L , and I'm in the gong :yes:

Shaun, not having finished mine yet etc, you will end up spending loads of money to not really go that quick. I frequently have thoughts about throwing in the 4age for the 13bt import motor, around the same money in the end a little more work but it would be a whole different league from a 4age, as i said ive had a series 4 rx7 with a hi flow more boost etc and it was an absolute weapon, now imagine it in a car thats a few hundred kg's lighter! But, if you want to go the 4age, i have a computer and injectors here you can buy from me cheap they are just spare.

Thanks mate, i hope it is worth it in the end!! The wheels i have on it at the moment will eventually be changed for some old school jap wheels, but it won't be until after the running gear is finished!! Thanks dude, i share what i can because it's a pain in the arse having to buy stuff and finding out it wont fit or isn't suitable for the job, I've been pulling info from other build threads on here and toymods and harassing people like Cuzzo on pm's! Going to get a few more things sandblasted tomorrow if i get a chance and find out about some stuff for SLO..
