Quick update, not much has been happening physically with the car, was supposed to be mounted tomorrow but i've been moved up to 7 days a week working now which is a pretty big chunk out of my week that's 70 hours!! But the money is good and it's helping buy all the parts required. Waiting on a few bits from Craig at Just JDM Imports, he seems to know his stuff and is sending me a complete loom, ECU and Injectors to suit my motor Which we both agreed would be better than the injectors and computer i already had as they might have been mis-matched, this will save and headaches and doubts when it comes time to turn the key. Cam Covers still need to be powder coated, I'm thinking red at this stage and knocking the top off the writing so they are silver..

What do you think the fibreglass will weigh when its set and put in?? Should look good mate, I'm trying to think of what car had a mad led setup in his roof lining, might have been in a forester I'll try dig up some old pictures

Mis-placed my flat screwdriver the other day and used a metal ruler instead.

Sandblasted the cam covers today and picked up my clutch master cylinder and got my oil cap in the mail, pics shortly.

Hey guys, more questions regarding loom, intake and ecu I picked up this ecu with a bunch of other gear the other day just wondering i this suits the intake i have?? Any ideas of what type it is or should i get a picture of the pin configuration? Cheers

Put it this way, if you are worried about prices of cars, stay away from them. As people have said, they are worth what people will pay for them, Mazda's are a good example rx3s and r100 coupes are worth a f@$king overrated these days and were worth sweet f@$k all 10 years ago.. I bought my rx7 in 2008 for $8500 and sold it one year later to the week for $4900, with 12 months rego, when people were scared about the whole recession thing etc and my car was overrated as and had some goodies on it too, hi-flow turbo strut braces etc. Try and find one as original that went as quick as mine for the original price i paid now... Pics *Excuse the bum bag, not mine, previous owner took the pics* Now for my corolla, i'm not scared to say i paid $3000 for it, 12 months rego, new tyres, ok body, good interior. I don't care what anyone says i thought it was worth the money i paid, I'm not looking to please anybody else but myself with it I don't plan to make money on the car when i sell it, as i sold my rx7 for only 2k more than this and the car ran rings around late model rexies and skylines etc. $3k its like 2 weeks pay, and i'm 21, who gives a f@$k, as these cars get destroyed and crashed they become more sought after in a good condition, its the way it goes.

Pedal box and clutch master cylinder from the ae86, used it to match up a brand new one from my old work which is a brake and clutch place. $20 for a new one I think it was part number TJB1140 or something i'll have a look when i go back and pick it up from the shop with my clutch.. Got home and measured the holes compared to the ones on the car and it should fit on perfect which is good...
