  1. Personally I'd rather a set of jellybeans.
  2. Hell I consider 30psi low!!!!!! Used to run in the high 30's in my KE35
  3. Here they are http://www.dragway.com.au/Classic%20Wheels.htm Don't do much for me but each to their own....
  4. Those rims look like Dragway 4 spokes(?). 13's wont make your ride bouncy. Ran them on my KE35 (225's on the rear on 6" rims) and never felt I had any problems. Hell it rode better than my VY wagon on 17's. And you would have to be going hard to push a tyre of a rim..........
  5. Start with a KE26, add carbon panels (bonnet, guards, tailgate, roof), full cage, 4agze fitted with both supercharger and big assed turbo. Use a six speed transaxle to keep the weight out of the nose. Have it sitting nice and low on custom made double wishbone front suspension with an independant rear end as well. As big a brakes as I could get squeezed into 15" rims (hell have them custom made to suit). Have the thing painted in a custom magenta pearl with a grey interior. Replace the guages with a MOTEC digital display. Have a custom aircon made to suit (I'm getting old and I like my comforts).
  6. Can be if it is non standard of faded to the shithouse.
  7. Carton of beer for a 4K. Does that make a 3K worth a six pack? Seriously, have 4 3K's out the back if anyone wants them.
  8. Only way to completly fix crows feet is to take it back to bare metal and start again. If you don't they will come back ;)
  9. Instead of a 4x4 license maybe low cars should be made to show a flag - like some bike riders use........ This debate is bullshit - if I owned a 4wd Territiry or a 4wd Rodeo/Hilux/etc I WOULD BE PISSED that I would have to have a special license when my mate/relative doesnt in the 2wd version. Same size, takes up as much space. 4wds might weigh more but they are engineered for that with better brakes etc. They may not handle as well as a Porsche - but neither does my wagon so you adapt to what you have. Ive said this before, Commodore wagon is the same size or bigger than a Patrol. My old HZ ute was also bigger than a Patrol (LWB). Does a Porchse GT4 owner need a special 4WD license? How about an owner of big Merc, they weigh up to 3 tonne and are friggin huge but by your arguement they wont need a special license. Personally this arguement is bullshit.
  10. Well just bore her out to suit :P
  11. whats your favourite colour????? What can you spend????? Maybe XR6 Blood Orange or a purple.
  12. If you are reffering to Ballarat, make sure that other clubs can compete and remember that ebntreis normally close the Friday before. If people want to spectate then we cane make sure that passangers can be carried.............:P
  13. Either - have seen KE20's with front drums
  14. If you want them, I have a set of RX3 steelies that will fit.
  15. Bought a show plate years ago MYTOY so that name has sorta stuck
  16. I feel for you with the Kingswood without power steering. I actually removed the power steering from my HZ as it was WAY to light (and pissing out oil). Didn't have any problems even with 235's on the front with a sports sterring wheel.
  17. Why ditch the hydrolics - they don't limit revs that much. I see 8000rpm with mine.
  18. I know I guy who had to have the floor of his Kingswood reinforced as he used to rip the seats out of the floor, but he was f@$kING HUGE!!!!!!!
  19. First time I've been able to watch the footage - shit I was crap. Too steal the words of a well known member of this group "I couldn't of driven a greasy stick up a dogs arse"
  20. No I'm not at this one - front brakes are locked on and it is to f@$king hot to fix it, also I let my membership expire when my son was born. Need to look into renewing it some day. Just note that BLCC only allowed financial members to compete at their events :P so you need to be careful and contact the club before entering which has to be done before 5pm Friday. There was talk of this changing. It would be more fun to compete at the warmup motorkhana at Werribee this Sunday. Only $10 bucks entry!!!!!!!!!!! and you can normally take passengers :P If you really want a good weekend, try the Challenge of Clubs on the long weekend in March, also at Ballarat. Saturday motorkhana, Saturday night a trial, and Sunday an autocross. You can choose any or all events. I can forward sub regs if interested.
  21. Don't think early and late KE30 dash pads can interchange. Looked at doing it once but there were too many differences eg. the shape of the dash pad where it lines up close to the windscreen. I think it would look dodgy. Wouldn't have a clue about KE55 dashes and whether the guages interchange :P
  22. Hears my 2 cents worth - I've tried heaps of combinations with sway bars - including twin fronts/with or without rear, heavy single front/matching rear, and standard front bar which Ive gone back to along with softer rear springs. I would never run a rear bar on a Corolla again, even with a locker, as it is easier to drive and quicker without one. Carrol Smiths books are more geared to open wheelers than sedans (I have the two mentioned) so I wouldnt bother unless you found them cheap  PS. as you are in Bendigo, look up Brian Shanahan as his KE25 seems to go pretty quickly no matter what the surface
  23. kangaroosa was right, we were away for a few weeks  Its a 5K with a cam and twin asians. Its running 4:1 extractors and a 2" system including a resonator. It has a 3" droopy tip welded to the muffler :). Everything else is as Kangaroosa has said. Brian from Bendigo car club is running a 2T or 3T. It used to be driven to events from Bendigo and home angain so no locker. May have one now...... Thanks for the link Kanga, was wondering where the video had got to.
  24. Also done to a Sigma - toggle switch operated park lights - strut top removed using a vice and a big hammer on the stub axle :y: - muffler which was third hand and had the baffles knocked out. Also no resinator. Over limit at idle but actually went quieter as it revved :hammer:
  25. Cut down V8 kingswood springs (basically cut in half) in my KE20......
