  1. Heaps of sprinters on the Begonia rally web site (not my photos by the way) check out the link below: blcc begonia rally click on the Mitsubishi a couple of times to get to the photos or go via the link on the left hand side.
  2. Just posting some photo's of a few corollas that competed in the Begonia Rally (a VRC round) Have no results at this stage
  3. Competition stuff, mainly motorkhanas and autocrosses and such. Doing them on sealed surfaces puts a fair load on everything driveline. Those who have seen me compete will tell you that I don't hold back.
  4. Old man does mine using an arc welder and stainless rods. Welds the gears together and the gears to the housing as well. Usually get around 3 years out of them before the big bang.......
  5. like these as they look modern but still have dish to suit an older car. should be able to get specific offsets if you require them to :D
  6. If your gonna go Dragway look at their billet styles (think Ive mentioned them before)
  7. A cousin had a Mazda 808 painted in that style - midnight blue with pearl flames (red Ithink). Looked great in the sun.
  8. Whatever you do don't mention anything to do with a wedding - the prices usually increase
  9. Using a rubber mallet on a KE35 easily provided clearance for 225/60/13's even when it was down to the bump stops. Done correctly it shouldnt crack paint (didnt crack mine anyway). It actually pushed the whole quarter panel out. That was the plan anyway but we thought it would require a porta power to achieve this like on a mates Statesman.
  10. Doing baby stuff Sat morning and then finding a comfy spot in front of the TV to watch Bathurst then to a 50th Sat night. Sun planning to spend all day in front of TV. May need to adjust antenna to improve reception. Stupid channel 10 :jamie:
  11. Damn this stupid filter at work - never get to see anything good :D
  12. Or this one
  13. Can't do the car pick just yet but this one is sorta cute
  14. which ones of the 200+ do you want to see?
  15. HK Holden (Monaro) are a bolt in fit in a KE35 and I think early Commodore Wagon are the same. Don't know if they are available as adjustables though
  16. Thanks for your thoughts guys (and girls). Beau is going great (what a life eating, sleeping and crapping) and the missus is recovering well. All that is required now is to get rid of the mother in law from the house and all is sweet :D
  17. Watchit Rob, There are two of us in this house that were born in Ballarat
  18. I was taught to tell my grandfather "Fords are crap" many moons ago, so I'm keeping the tradition alive but I don't expect Beau to be saying it for a while...... ps. bugger Beau, I want a rollaclub beanie
  19. Already teaching him to tell my old man that "Nissans are shit" and showing him motorsport videos  Beau weighed in at 2.97kg or 6lb 9oz for all you old farts out there |blink| and was 48.5cm long.
  20. As of Monday week ago my wife gave birth to our first child after a days labour and an emergency ceaser. Beau has settled well and I'm getting used to bugger all sleep.
  21. Most events its up to the officials. If they think its to loud you will be asked to fix it or piss off. Instead of removing the muffler completely, cut an end off remove the baffles and reweld the end back on. Can then weld a larger diameter tail pipe on for a tougher look (3" droopy is tops)
  22. Had a Corolla hire car in South Africa 5 years ago and it had a carbed 1300 engine (and no it wasn't a 4K). Emmission standards, speed laws, drink driving, seat belts etc are a lot more relaxed over there. Its actually freaky driving as it is the responsability of the slow car to get out of the way of the car behind. Makes for some interesting moments :n:
  23. Go the red and white. Just don't ask me "does my arse look big in this......."
  24. Have they changed it? I remember it from years ago when they would run both the normal karts and fast karts together. Made for some interesting moments when you were travelling at twice the speed of the slow karts............. Or at night hitting a patch of water on the track that appeared half way through the stint (after someone hit a tyre barrier) and loosing all control half way through a series of esses. A little scary sitting in the middle of the track watching the next kart heading straight for me :P
