  1. if you twist my arm any harder it will fall off. :lolcry: i'll see how i got getting enough $$$ for an un-reg permit to bring it to the first meet point.
  2. nope. there is a 50, two 55's and two 70's. thats all for old corollas.
  3. hmmmm, i'd like to go on this but it's the weekend before my exams. might come down anyway :lolcry:
  4. hey, i was out at pick pay and go in heatherdale rd and there is a ke50 lift back. it looks to be complete and has a k50 5spd for those in the hunt for one. i would have grabbed it but i didn't have the money or know how to get it out. :lolcry:
  5. it's does have a bit of dish but not crazy amounts. i'm going to see if i can find/make up a center with this badge.
  6. tiny little update. found that the car loses fuel out the overflow when i turn hard right with anything more than 1/2 a tank. bad news is i found this out after losing 10L in about 30km. :) purchased this: it's period correct and sporty but it says datsun in the middle and i need a different boss kit to fit it. got quoted $90 from repco for a boss kit so it's not looking like i'll have it on anytime soon. not much else going on. saving my moneys for the crown.
  7. this is the unfortunate hoonda. it gets thrashed and is used as my parts getter. (can fit a whole ae86 front end + drive shaft with heaps of room left) now lets never speak of this again. :)
  8. they aren't my photoshop skills. they are those of BReNt's brother. on here as bAKER from memory. yeh, thats my hoonda. :)
  9. what? oh right, this one.
  10. spotted a bright yellow ke20 leaving Peter Robinson's this morning. didn't recognize it as a car from here.
  11. good to see some progress with all these sprinters. your ae86 is looking tantalizingly close to being back together. have you kept it regoed while it has been of the road? let me know if you need a spare set of hands putting any of this stuff back together. :) cheers, alex.
  12. this is my problem. it's dads old car and still regoed in his name. i have a deal with him that as long as i keep it he pays for rego, insurance, servicing, fuel ect so in essence it's wither a good useable car or a one off payment of what ever i can get for it. he's one clever bastard isn't he.
  13. thanks parrot, i need a good kick in the ass to get me moving on this. small progress, new spark plugs fitted. bought a RT40 mirror to fit to my car to replace the black plastic one. bought a pair of secondhand tyres for the front, still on the look out for another pair for the rear. large phone bills and no job not helping the progress. :)
  14. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=30548 *cough*
  15. this is so awesome. we had 7 XE2X at a mazda criuse (lol) on saturday. pity we didn't get them all in a line.
  16. who me? never. you may also need the beaver panel to mount the lights to. evan, there was a thread about keybanging a little while ago, i'll see if i can find the link. edit: clicky
  17. i'd say so.
  18. was out at pick pay and go yesterday and there was 2 ke70's and 3 ke55's for those interested.
  19. not as random as teddy bear rims!
  20. hmmm, every day that goes past it looks less likely that i can make this. yesterday the ke20's clutch starts slipping, not bad but noticeable enough to warrant not pushing it hard and the one of my mates invites me to a bbq at his place with free drinks and easy women. might take dfunkt's advice and just cruise to the first meet point then bail.
  21. i've got that feeling i've seen it on a ke25 somewhere because it's a similar font to the 'deluxe' badge that they have.
  22. the ke1X sprinters have a large angular sprinter badge. like this one. i was thinking it looks more ke30/te37.
  23. hey guys and gals. i need to reach into the well that is rollaclub and bring out a pail of knowledge. going around the local market this morning i cam across a stall with an assortment of car bits. while looking through i found a bucket of car badges with a few toyota ones. having a look through i found this. now i was unsure of it's origin and it was only $1 so i bought it. here is where you guys come in, i need help identifying what it is off. it's an early badge because it has two metal pins/clips through the back to hold it to the panel. on the back is the code: 715253 and the little to-yo-ta symbol thing. my guess is that it's a badge that was put on some cars as a sort of marketing gimmick without them actually being sprinters. any information/pictures relating to the badge would be greatly appreciated. cheers, hendo.
  24. kids are (hopefully) a long way off for me but i have always like the territory turbos. even in stock form they are punchy enough but i'd get one of those flash tune ecus to get the most out of the motor. and cost no option i'd get a VW Touareg R50. i know it's going to be shit off road and it looks like shit but there is something about a 5L V10 with 2 turbos that just makes me want one. oh, and it's a diesel to keep the greenies happy.
