You will need to find an engineer in your state because each and every state has different laws to the power to weight ratio in cars. You WILL need a blue mod plate if you actually do this conversion. I have heard of people doing this conversion before so I wouldn't say it is impossible either. Try and do a little research first, ring up your state transport department, find an engineer and do all the talking and planing first.

Thanks on all the replys. I have something in mind but it will stay a secret for now in case it never happens. Still interested to hear a little more if anyone has anything left to said, even though most of it has already been stated.

Has anyone ever twincharged a 4k?

Or as your signature states irokin hehe "A turbo, exhaust gasses go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens and you go faster." -Jeremy Clarkson

I see that there is a bit of a craze on either Turbo or Supercharging a old school Rolla. I like either, though prefer a Supercharger in my eyes. Though Turbo is always good. The most common setup I have seen is the standard turbo on the 4k or 5k engines. Though I have heard of Supercharging as well. My father reckons people are choosing the turbo setup more as it is easier, and people more follow that craze.. I was thinking of doing a SC14 on my 4k.. Though people say that 4k is a little thin if I am getting it bored to 30thou.. But then I see that there is already pre-made turbo manifolds up for sale.. so turbo seems easier.. but I want best performance wise hands down. Do you get more power out of a turbo than say an SC14 or something? Would YOU choose a Supercharger or a turbocharger? And why?

Add for more cylinders onto the K engine?.. lol. I am also looking for it too so I will be hanging around this thread. I have an older mate who does exhausts and I will try and ask him for you and I next time I see him if you want buddy.

No guys I actually found it after a few days. It's J.A.P Thanks anyway though guys. Appreciate it.

First of all, I feel a bit stupid I lost this blokes url. He is a member on here, I think JDM is his website?.. Or something auto spares or parts. He does roll cages, and stainless steel headers for K series engines, he does the turbo manifold setups for 4k's as well.. sells a few cars and stuff like that. I spent 10-20 minutes trying to look for it.. Sorry about the idiot question.

Shapes on bread. Or dipping bread in the fat liquid stuff after you have had roasts. -

I agree with you there. I am 16 turning 17 this year. I know most girls our age or younger will think that he is attractive and hot just because he has been on television now. They say being on TV helps you get laid. Unfortunately, women around our age are not the smartest of all women yet, so I guess that is just life. In a way, they like to dress guys up a little, not to the point of looking like a girl. I never wear those bug eye glasswear. I don't like other people to wear sunglasses when around me as I don't know what they are looking at. Not all men accept the fact of being dressed up either. I myself have worn a bikini top and ran around the swimming carnival at my old school, I was also 2 years younger then this age. And I agree, unfortunately. -
Wish they had a bigger engine capacity inside of them stock. The KE55 hardtop should of had at least a 2L engine making it more.. hardtop style. Though I like it because of it's looks and style. It stands out in the crowd of todays newer cars.

I would be in if you could pick me up Jon.

No pictures of any cars were really taken. Only picture of a car that was taken was Teddy in the Laser on the race home haha. And the Dodge pick up truck we saw in the car parking lot.

2 piece tailshafts are to reduce vibration. "Most modern cars have a two piece tailshaft. This is only to reduce vibration. (Have a look at one if you get a chance - One part is always longer than the other to reduce harmonic vibration. Clever!) For a performance car, this is a waste of time, and it should be replaced with a one piece unit. " - http://www.billzilla.org/diffs.htm "Modern vehicles often come equipped with multi-piece tailshafts, in order that maximum interior passenger space is achieved. A multi-piece shaft makes this possible because its sections can be set at slightly different angles, so wrapping around the underside of the cabin. Usually, the shaft leaves the gearbox at a slight downwards angle, then angling back upwards as it nears the differential. While all this sounds fine, unfortunately the more pieces a tailshaft is made from, the less reliable it is." - http://autospeed.com/cms/A_108655/article.html Sounds like the one piece tail shafts are the go for performance.

Why not get the 3k head shaved? Or the engine block decked? That is one way to increase compression. I would use flat top pistons, as I think the dished pistons dish INTO the piston. So you would be then decreasing compression.. Though if you want a supercharger or turbocharger on your engine. It would be good to have a bit of a low compression so you can force more into your chamber.

Getting his dog a t-bone? That is sort of cute in a way. Argh. It does sorta scare me a little too. As I was in this Skyline accident and I walked away with hardly no harm.. I can only imagine if the Skyline hugged a tree..

Lol Pit crew. Come down again 7shades. Was funny to have you there last time. And the cruise afterwards sounds pretty sweet, I wonder if the other Toyota's might tag along too for the ride?

I had a similiar thought to. Which would be better out of a 1 piece and say a 2 piece. My vote would be 1 piece is better as someone stated before. Less moving parts, less stuff to go wrong etc..

Well I thought I might say this one, as Daniel can't say it for himself now as he has passed away. ABC News or something tonight said that a 17 year old boy in Logan Reserve had a car accident and died last night at 12:00am. His name was Daniel Woodgate, Him and I knew each other a little, but never really spoke. His 17 year old passenger has been sent to hospital. Ahh.. So I guess.. R.I.P..

Black smoke is usually running too rich, or the engine not burning up all the fuel. Oil coming out of the exhaust? Are you sure it's black smoke? Or maybe blue? If it's blueish it's the oil burning. Is it on start up? Or when you are mobile?

I have removed some from falcons. All I was given was a gasket scraper looking thing. And use a hammer haha. Good luck!

I use jizz juice. I like to still show my Catherine that I still love her. She loves it when she is all shiny. Catherine is my KE55's name boys. Don't get too excited.

Irokin, Darren informed me that you had one for sale around 6 months ago. Maybe he was confused with something else? He is a user on here. Pretty common one. Also, another question about heads. The 3k bigport head, the only real difference was that the inlet and exhaust ports were bigger from factory right? Nothing else?

I don't know if it's just me or not, but that website you gave us tojo2 does not work.
