i totally agree. this kesev and Jolufs would have to be the nicest ones on rc. even if you went as far as putting a 4a in it. it'd still be nice. clean and respectable. not laying rail with flared guards and uber exhausts with stripped interiors. give kesevs a good name again!!

ok so according to the previous thread we'll be starting at mt lofty and heading to henly beach. also a few asked to go more south. so we'll do that. start at the mt lofty car park. head back south and pretty much go upper sturt rd then onto main rd leading through towards clarendon. so some nice sweeping bendy rds to begin with. then i reckon we'll come out at happy valley somewhere and jst cruise towards brighton/ glenelg beach. stop there for a bit. (might have an earlier stop point) from there head to henley i guess and finish up there. i will print out directions and hand em out to everyone. no maps tho. but i'm pretty sure there will be someone at the back to make sure no one gets lost. see ya'll tomorrow!!

ffs.... oh well. we seriously need ryan to update the thread well the first post. with who is coming etc. or maybe i should start a fresh thread?

much appreciated taz. i've been toying with the thought of jst getting some soundstream coax speakers for the rear. will make it easier. i've disussed with some people in know and yeah they all said the same thing. i have a 2x 150wrms amp on the way for my splits. will be more than enough for them. i will more than likely jst use the current 2ch i have to drive the rear unless the sound will be good enough with the HU driving the rear. i'm happy with the sound but it does need 'balancing' a bit. i need somethin in the rear. as for the windows i'm a very persistant sorta guy and i know someone who has done em in a ke30/55 before so this will make i a whole lot easier. i guess these sorta things really depend on the car. cnetral locking is easy on the front doors but hard on the rear. a 1990 mx-5 is damn near impossible to do central locking.

no shit 19 now gettin old buddy

cheers guys! loving the way its looking atm. tonight i retrimmed and installed my parcel shelf from the 55. looks awesome its made out of 15mm mdf as well. also finally hooked up the last 2 wires for central locking. works great. and installed the underglove box tray. little things like this every night are making me a happy chappy. lol future plans are: new door handles. electric windows alarm turantula splits for the rear with the tweeter flush mounted into the pillar trims. thats about it atm. see how we go! when i get my new phone i'll take piccies of the parcel shelf cheers, Luc

bringing the missus i think might get my other mate with e KE to come
-
ok so today i been busy got all the doors finished. well almost jst trying to source some new inner handles. so here are the pics i have. door. new cards wrapped. all the cards were made from 6mm mdf. cheers, Luc

Dropz yeah i agree i will be getting brand new chrome ones in due time. Johno.... they aren't wired up yet. but i'll be putting and pressure switch in same sorta deal and your doors/interior light. i won't be using a relay either as these lights are already 12v and i don't reckon they'd draw enough amps to be a worry. Luke: your a tripper ay!! lol
-
number two i believe may be my mate. i've been trying to get him to join rc but he's lazy he should be out for the bday cruise tho.
-
some more work done. fabbed up the drivers door card. fitted the speakers and have em both running. and my goodness they are farkin awesome.!! i think the little amp thats running em is a bit weak so that'll be getting upgraded soon enough. so piccy of the door card. will be wrapping them both tomorrow. and jst a random shot of it, looks tuff i reckon. its gonna come down another 20mm on the front and she'll be perfect. and here was tonights project. then wrapped with down lights and installed.
-
watevs ay say when and where and i'll be there joluf you southerner? southerners have normally met at noarlunga red rooster.
-
met ya there mate and voted for ya. good work on the sound off. was definately a good show. hopwfully next year myself and two others i know will be entering.
-
i'll be there for a gander too. will in the zze tho.
-
and me! was 21! lol 100% going.
-
considered mounting em else where but i figured they're there i may as well show em off. the wires are run very neatly into the door card. i personally like em. the way they are. i do however have another idea on how to make the whole lot neater not sure if it'll work tho. Luke i've used 6mm mdf.
-
personally i would like some singular shots and also some groupies. so yeah.. i'm keen for watevs. hills are my forte so i'm jst happy to get out in the hills.
-
i'll be in for sure.. any chance of being able to get the photos on a data disc?
-
well so one trim is half finished but installed will look good once covered. and by god these speakers are well worth the money. they sound excellent piccies. cheers.
-
keep it luke. its nicer than the 11 was and its great to drive. do some shiz to it piss the laser off and daily drive it... aka enjoy it. ergh above picture. i like the wheels but to me its too low.. cars that low don't appeal to me at all enymore. more like needs to be lifted in the rear for some rake and a bigger tyre.
-
yeah mate i believe i'll be debuting on the rc b day cruise.! looking forward to it. well tonight i started on designing my door trims.. and golly trying to fit these turantula splits neatly is a real pain in the ass. nothing that will work looks any good. meh i'll have to deal. if anyone has dealt with these speakers they'll understand too. the magnet on em is HUGE and the x over is also quite bulky. hopefully have the main design done by the end of the wkend
