exactly!! learnt lots with that car but yeah too far gone and i wanted to change too much about the body. the next car will get more subtle mods but still unusual nonetheless
just lost interest in it.. i went too far with it and got myself to the point where i couldn't seem to see the light at the end of the tunnel. + the 4age thing just doesn't
interest me.. i'm going with a more exotic choice in engine. something new and never done.
also engineering costs were getting too high. the car i'm getting is older smaller lighter will be more fun and responsive with the engine choice.
it will still be a green beast but yeah different guise.
ok So biig news... the car is gone! chopped up into little pieces and heading to scrap tomorrow night.
sad days but a smaller better project is coming along... will hopefully be picking up the new car next weekend!
what about....
'what have you found in your chassis rail.???
lol the fellas chopped up the greenbeastie yesterday and found a golf ball in the chassis rail.
yep thats was me scotty i was having a perv on the 26 as well lol.
yesterday spotted an immaculate looking ke55 brown,, and old was driving it as well. nice to know he's into the good cars now!
this was on sth rd near morphettvale.
its probs not that simple but redrill the x member to suit the 30 chassis and centre it. then run everything kesev.
the whole front end. rack and pinion lcas etc. would be ugly from underneath and youd get a track increase i believ but at east everything is already set up. you'd need to change the strut top over to standard ke30 ones as well. or perhaps jst bolt the 30/55 struts in place of the kesev ones.
yes but your left with a whole in the door trim and that pin for the winder sticking out..
they provide caps but still.
i'd prefer to try and mount this type of unit.
ok so you'd actually need to make a custom bracket for the glass as well.. hmmm interesting i imagine lining it all up will be difficult but not
impossible. i have some glass laying around i may see what i can come up with.
if i come up with something good i'll do a guide.
hoorah for u pull it being open very soon.
yeah its a 2nd gen 4efe from a 1998 starlet. 80k full service history. 88hp model.
took cam cover off and you could eat of what inside.
Cheers for lovin johno the rocker cover is jst wire brushed no polish seriosly cbf with that considering i had this motor comin!
Fusion: what were you in? and cheers!
