  3. illegal cars are hard to sell as well.
  4. Lol ^^ well today the front got lowered 30mm.. looks aight. you know jst a bit lower all round for that noticable look without being attention grabbing. also installed adjustable camber and castor tops. and had full wheel alignment. so yeah went for a bit of a burl tru clarendon. this thing handles soooo well. its almost on rails!! jst needs more power. the entire driveline is very tired. camber is good and castor settings are pretty much maxed. and the tope most defiantely didn't break my wallet. less than $200. my secret lol.
  5. depends on how hardcore ya want but pedders suspension on bains rd. owners name is allen. and he loves corollas. top bloke.
  6. wicked car is driving! wheel aignment is done sussy gear feels great nice and stable and stiff. still a few things to put back together but for now i'm just enjoying driving it! another update on sat.
  7. hmm nah the have to have open end on em. closed off ends won't fit but anyways i found a way to use the standard ones so its all good. cheers fellas
  8. i think they need to be the shorter fatter ones but have an open end on em... i just need a pic of em so i can see if i can mod the ones i have tpo fit or not.
  9. hmm mine must be diff. i got the bottoms outta coupe but those bits have to have an open end on em. maybe its a 55 one i need? oh and i didn't get the sms aye?
  10. can someone please take a photo of a coupe seat belt? the bit that goes into the holder. sms it to 0410 333 893 or post here cheers. the type that has an open end not closed off!
  11. headlights only go in one way roladude. the y only fit the buckets one way and the buckets only go one way properly. and if you look the lines go both ways??.. they aren't adjusted at all yet evan.
  12. also now have 14" chrome trims on!! look goood.
  13. soo freakin excited looks like i'll be driving this beastie as of sat morning!!!! hell yeah boi. also have some more plans to improvethe paint.!! hehe can't help myself!!
  14. fluid tip was 1.4mm. its almost what i want i reckon i want 1.2mm just for the finer atomisation. makes all the difference when spraying high metallic basecoats. the job was dodgy ish... guy didn't car one bit so NO panelling was done all dents were left etc. my painting was quite good. second car i've done so i've almost got it completely sussed. environment let it down big time. huge amounts of crap on the bonnet and roof. but we have plans to build an enclosed section to act as a spray booth.
  15. pretty sure we can come to an arrangement of some sort! pm me if your keen. jason yeah it was aight.. i reckon for topcoats though really need an even smaller needle and fluid tip. but was almost what we needed. i'll clean it up and shiz this week.
  16. out down the side of the shed mate. mate ryan thrives on it!! lol
  17. cheers mate. used protec high build 2 pack primer. a ppg basecoat and DNA 2 pack clear. very good quality paints but i get the stuff cheap so it's doable! knackered now tho.
  18. ok so todays project.. possibly the quickest paint job in history. started work at approx 1:30 and finished everything at around 6pm so car came looking kinda like this.. then sanded masked dismantled and put in primer. the basecoat. then clear coat! looks pretty good. my mate didn't care one bit about the car jst wanted it to look better so its dodgy but got good quality paints on it. a red pearl was put through this and in person it looks really really good.! defiantely stands out. the colour is called shanghai red. all up cost less than $500.
  19. have no ideaif this is covered but this one and also number 2 are great.
  20. ok so i've been searching ebay with not much luck. but... can you get new centre caps? like the ones that came off the ke30's? if not where can i find something similar.? cheers, Luc
  21. nah all god ay! well not heaps to show but still just tidying the interior up a bit and connecting wiring etc. i did however install this chrome strip. also the chrome guttering. powdercoat these put this sticker on changed to KE30 buckets for th headlights. (after powdercoating them of course.) and also just a random shot. cheers, Luc
  22. awesome work man!!
  23. ok SPD is speed sensor input.. i believe this isn't needed. BATT: Unswitched 12vECU power feed. ( permanent power feed from battery,) +B1: feed to ECU from ignition switch via EFI relay. +B: as above W: check engine warning light. will run without this connected. jst connects to common earth i believe as the switches are switched to earth to trigger them. A/C: this is triggered by your aircon. its an idle up feature not really needed. FC: i don't know this one.
  24. very interesting! i'm keen to see how this dash turns out!
  25. farking awesome man! now i don't know if this was covered but how come this enthusiasm couldn't have been put into the seca?
