Lol Dude i am an amatuer trust me..!!! haha i jst like to try new things and i like to be or get good at everything i try. so for now small update. i've wrapped the back section of that console i made... tis looking good.! i need to plump it out a bit with some foam but the overall look is gonna be insane. picked up a wiring loom for the 4e so i can start nutting that out. also picked up a tow bar for the bitch.. bit more rear end stiffness and bike rack for some bmxican riding should be good. gonna powdercoat it to make it look nice! cheers, Luc

  4. nope no idea but we did have to move the rotor around a few times.. can easily move a k motor around but the 12a was a serious struggle.

  6. sorry i have to say this... 13b rotor? no way is it lighter than a k motor. we had a 12a at our shed and i was waaay heavier than any k motor we had laying around.

  10. yes they need to be locked so they can't be lowered more than lowest legal and you MUST retain 2/3's of your original suspension travel. now back on topic. Your car is awesome!!!

  13. nevermind i figured it out. my tyre spins 551 times per km the diff ratio is 4.11 and the sensor pulses 4 times per rev so 551x4.11x4 = 9058.44 pulses per km. sweet as bru.
  14. as above who in adelaide does speedo calibrations? i have an aftermarket spec speedo and an electronic speed sender from a newer toyota that fits into the t50 i have, need to calibrate it.. however if i can figure out how many revs per km the car does i can do it myself as the sender is 4 pulses per rev. but i'm a maths dumb ass. thanks, Luc
  15. i love those engine mounts and g/box mounts never thought of doing it that way before.
  16. how big is the flake? i recently sprayed out a 200 micron flake and didn't enjoy the effect. when there isn't sun on it, it kinda looks like little specs of bird shit. (black specs) fine flakes are ok but pearls give a great effect in and out of the sun.
  17. think about it anyway orange is a nice colour... jst think about the xr5 ford focus orange.. its pure sex.
  18. hmmm orange... hard colour to add flakes and pearls to. what ever you choose won't stand out that well.... but... for some subtle adds perhaps try a gold pearl.. or a really fine gold flake. also i would think that a red pearl would add some really good eyecatching nuances to the paint. look at DNA paints you can get trial canisters rather cheap and do a spray out of various ideas. also to add to this i would mix enough clear to do your tack coat and your first full 'wet coat' and mix the pearl or flake rather strong. then mix some clear for a 2nd and/or 3rd wet coat without any flakes. this adds depth and allow you to buff it back to absolute mirror finish without ti affecting the pearls. pm me if you wanna chat about painting.
  19. hmmm you would have to use a coil that is used in conjunction with an ignitor. non ignited coils are different.

  22. i agree with the warping. i've looked at doing this myself and if i was to squeeze it all tight together it would warp the panel and look shite.
  23. ignitor? is this the 4a with individual coil packs or does it have a dizzy? do you have spark leading away from the lead from the coil?
  24. me too may have to pull out late notice tho due to family concerns. but ya always keen for a cruise.
