  7. ems has everything i believe. i need an ecu that has vvt capability and coldstart to get me thru regency. now i belive from what i've read vvt can be maintained even with aftermarket cams. but if your lift goes beyond a certain point you have to get rid of it. i think the main cam i should upgrade to match up with the porting is the exhaust the better flowing the exhaust the better. thanks for the link dale! but it says i need to be a member tried that a few times before! wait it worked!!!
  8. yeah i went in LukeAE71's car and i wouldn't be happy with it personally. so turbro it is
  9. update. my gasket kit arrived today... full of toyota goodness.!! did some more work on the bay smoothing. sat down and planned out my engine build.. . ARP rod bolts . ARP main studs . ARP head studs . ARP flywheel bolts . Fully balanced bottom end with gze pistons . ACL race bearings . Supertech Valves 1mm oversize + valve springs + titanium retainers . Intake ported . Exhaust ported . need some more research into cams... may leave em stock. . TODA metal HG 0.8mm. . At this stage i believe i'll be using an EMS computer. have one sourced still trying to decide if its gonna be good enough. . 30mm trumpet inside custom plenum . Td-04/05 turbro on custom turbo manifold. . tomei crank cap ladders about as fas as i've gotten. but should be a tough engine.
  10. if you use 10mm you can route out the area for the seat belts so it fits. but..... to make it a perfect fit up against the window like the original ones you need to turn the jigsaw to cut at an angle.
  11. tarago is a good option... but what are the availability of LSD's?
  12. where do you get these fittings?
  13. pretty sure a steering box needs to be 'full' of oil? or very close to full.
  14. i do.... but if you dent it i'll rape you cos it's overrated..... and i kno where you live.!!! lol you got cred? i'll txt ya.
  15. some more progress shots.. stripped back and some seam welding done in etch primer. first step of smoothing. metal mend fibreglass. hopefully get other side done tomorrow. then all i got left to strip is the back of the front panel and a little bit more of the firewall. YAY!!!
  16. i hope so. all this work better pay off~~!!
  17. i had this problem after i fitted an aftermarket steering wheel. a pin on the column was getting stuck on a groove on the bosskit. maybe that? or does it sound like its coming from in the bay?
  18. hahaha i kno all about not sailing smooth!! looking good mate all coming together.
  19. me and the missus'll be there
  20. yeah i put it there for the benfit of other people as well. although i got the same one as you. i put the single banjo fitting on like the other dude did and the line bolted in fine.
  21. lol NO!! it is not easy wish i could use a hand snadblaster but where the car is it'd be too messy.
  22. http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.p...ighlight=pajero found the thread.
  23. yeah pics will come when i've got it all stripped and i start refinishing it. for the moment i've had two deliveries today! this one will be the centre piece for my custom boot skin covering. and this will ensure my 9000rpm limiter won't cause engine failure!
