  2. more rust repairs!! crap cut out!! notice the rust behind it in the wheel well?? well wire grinded it and put a shite load of rust converter on it! then stitched up!

  6. hey all. bit more work on that guard! also repairing my boot lip! it was made of fibreglass before!! was pretty weak!!
  7. i got my silvertop package for 1100 that was complete motor + crappy FWD trans also computer and loom. only 70 000 on the motor.
  8. sounds good ryan and it'd be about the right size too!!! ken a couple of straps would be dodge i reckon cos it'd be flexible. when you hit bumps and stuf the tyre will move around and stuff?? or have i got you wrong??
  9. hmmm good idea but i reckon you'd need to seal the top better! road dirt and moisture will find its way up and possibly ruin the mdf.... i didn't even think of doing it like that!!! how would you strap it in???? i was gonna use a wagons strpping system or maybe rig something up from a ute?? you know how they wind em down??
  10. oh also have you considered intalling your amps behind the rear seat?? this way they are totally hidden all you'd need to do is put a sheet of metal or mdf behind it first to cover the fual tank! your rear seat are spring loaded yeah?? kinda mount the amps so tehy'll sit in the cavities!
  11. i was gonna use a grinder and cut slots into it! then from there you can grab a hammer and bash and bend it in flat! trim the exces and reweld. or just cut it out completely and weld some sheet metal in...... or not even weld the metal in a couple of bolts or a shiteload of big pop rivets!

  18. hehe no skill here man. i can mig pretty good but this is the first time i've used gasless mig and its a completely different animal!!!!! took about an hour and a half to do that!! and i blew quite a few holes in it at first!!!!

  20. Fabricated a new alternator mount! this is to allow for the RWD cooling system! mounts is further out and down!
  21. bit of an update! wasn't happy with the way my cressida struts looked! not really stock enough! so i stripped em down and sand blasted and powdercoated em! also decided to throw the discs and order some new slotted items! calipers redone in a better tougher gold paint! hubs redone sandblasted stuff! stuff done
  22. they didn't convert the colling system hence why the firewall was cut. if you can get a 16v in there you can get a 20v in there if its done right

  24. $300??? thats cheap as! Tint a car charge 500 ish for midnight express but thats 10 year guarentee
  25. ok i looked into this. i got quoted for a full bottom end rebuild set up for turbo. so acid dip machining of everything balancing brass bushings etc and 4agze forged pistons was gonna cost $1100.
