  1. hangon so does this now mean the engine has been damaged ?
  2. So what your saying is Aus superlites are poor quality and over priced and UK superlites are cheap and are of high quality ? sorry if i misunderstood.
  3. this is real, don't be be fooled into thinking this wont work ;)
  4. Yeh saw one today at my work also and had the exact reaction, not really fussed. But i do like the toyota taking risks concept.
  5. Thats bloody awesome. Your an inspiration :blinks: i love what you have done with the bolts too.
  6. why does the shock need to be FE2 ? ive grabed a set out of a normal wagon at the wreckers and found the VR-VS shocks to be shorter than KE70 Rears so yeh still wondering why specific FE2?
  7. wow yes ive just seen the supra in the forsale section seems to be all "new" members. i wouldnt say its all sa at fault, id be making sure id direct the problem at being new members. I'm sure almost all us regular sa members have learnt our sesson. I see your point Trev, its very annoying and unfair to those who don't bump whore. Maybe trial run this. Impose a posting ban with description of failure to meet rules for 6 months ? (rules ammendment) and a no post in the forsale section until 100 legitimate posts on the forum ? or maybe block all members from posting if they live in sa :jamie: joking
  8. So are the SA guys still a big problem in the forsale section ?, i thought this was taken care of months ago ? Ive noticed new sa members with no posts that are what it seems just here to sell might be the problem ?
  9. Hey, you do understand that the stud pattern you have quoted wont fit ? such as the 4 holes in the centre of the rim just wont slide onto the studs and bolt down.
  10. Hi i know its says PM if interested, but id like some more info which might help other buyers also. RS FOUR as you stated but wondering if its a base model or RS FOUR S, S Type B, V, V AERO, AERO What is the build date on the factory nissan plates to determine series 1 or 2 Who did the shift kit and is there a log book service history Some pics would be nice. Hope i havent been too pushy, helps to bump it to the top either way. CHEERS Matt
  11. ouch, id rather go work in a factory doing mindless work
  12. ooo thats 4 so who else we waiting on ?
  13. Hey those wheels look great, looks like they fit neat and tidy in those arches. How much more work is needed before this gets on the road ? can't wait to see it.
  14. Considering how rare the vehicle these are fitted to are and the condition thats seen in the pics, I'm amazed he isnt asking more. Try quoting up a pair of lights for current model corolla and the rear garnish and see what kinda price they come up with, I'm sure it would be close to a thousand dollars. Would be nice to have these on my 25 but at end of the day its a 25 not a 27.
  15. Redbook says its worth between 1000-2500 roughly and ive seen guys trying to get 1500 for E7's missing carbies and tie rods, so hey try asking 1200-1800 and see what happens.
  16. Wow i can't beleive its been this long since ive done anything. I guess as it stands i now have a shed and plenty of room to do this properly, the 25 has been moved to the shed and planning and thinking hard is where I'm at. I had a Donation of a KE36 panel van with some modifications but the body has seen better days, this is pretty much the doner car for the 25 The 25's engine has completely had it and the radiator too. I have a Mildly worked 3K for it with high compression built for gas not by choice but a bonus :) and a old school Transistor ignition booster. As it stands i would love to have this car in my wedding along with my blue AE71 so they are both getting new paint jobs. Hopefully some pictorial updates in the next few weeks months.
  17. My choice also Avalon I worked for mitusbishi dealer on and off for 6 years. From what ive seen magna from 98 onwards no major dramas as same with any car. But id still buy An Avalon over a magna very good bang for buck and these things can look pimp if done right. Just be aware things like a electric window regulator for an avalon is about 600 plus dollars where as one for a magna is about 130 new, so wreckers it is for these sorta of parts.
  18. Good work Tally Hey instead of using sikaflex maybe "drip check"? might wanna ask your uncle which is better considering i don't know what your going to be sealing. Its usally used between panels and to protect overlapping panels from what my panel guys told me years ago. Hope ive helped in some way. Matt
  19. Awesome i love what you have done with the sedan.
  20. Just to be on the safe side id also just like to make sure I'm in to be confirmed with my definate interest shown earlier for said extractors. Cheers Matt
