I'm over the painting side of things. I tried, and tried again and its not working the way i want. I am just going to hand the car over to a Pro and get them to paint it. I tried to get out dents and no matter what i did you could always see a tiny little ripple in the panel. I can't afford a $5,000 job but i'm going to do it anyway. Everyone says I'm stupid and i should just get rid of the corolla. They said i could buy a EL Xr8 for the same money but this is a project

A very small update for such a long time since last post, :wink: My Portable carport is getting pretty torn, I need to get the car out and get painted. I was starting to save for a paintjob but then the timing chain snapped on the ford so thats just cost me $2,500 so the paint job is going to be delayed for a while more. I did a bit of work on the weekend with the car, I put the panels on ready for towing.

I don't know hardly anything about engines but my idea of "Cheap" Upgrade is $150 - $300 I am dropping off my 4age to the mechanics as soon as my clutch arrives in the mail. The work he is preforming on it will be a brand new water pump, new cam belts, machined flywheel, Exeedy heavy duty clutch and a new throw out bearing. When the car gets back on the road (in 2013 most likely) I will be taking it back to get Genie extractors, 256 cams and cold air intake with a custom made air box to keep out the hot engine air. Still gotta work out the box.. lol! After that i'll chuck him $1000 here and there to do more work on it but i don't know what to get just yet.. The head as already been Ported, polished and grinded and it has a 2" sports exhaust with high flow cat so it revvs up nicely but it should go better once i get more work done on it and it's actually bolted in my rolla.. ;) Hope that gives you some idea's ;) Edit.. almost forgot to say for ever who said remove the door bracing.. Are you Nuts?? its there for a reason.. to save your life! :?

Everything went well, 60+ people there, Good music, drinks a plenty, (Too many for me lol), anyway.. great party except when one little shit head decides to crack the shits over god knows what and starts slamming doors and smashing bottles in my house against walls! I just moved in a nice house and this little shit thinks he can smash up my house. Maybe you remember the guy that cut my lunch with a chick i posted in here about 8 months ago. Well i haven't spoke to him since that until i thought i would try to forgive him and make a mends but he decides to pull this shit on me. I got him against the wall and practically lost it at him by yelling but i couldn't hit him cos he's my mates nephew and he's only 19 so i would have put him in a coma when i was finished.

Ok, maybe not a chaser but i still loved it. My old Datsun 200b station wagon. It was a bomb and it just went and went. I bought it for $100 and i had it for 1 year till i got a defect notice on the windshield. Drove it to the scrap metal yard and got 50 bucks for it. I don't know why i sold it but i miss it so much now and every time i see a 200b i reminisce on the good old days
