I love camping and I have alot of camping gear. Sometimes its a pain in the ass to load up the car with tent, gas bottles, lights, gazebo, camp kitchen, stove, BBQ, poles.... Etc. So... I bought myself a brand new 6x4 tradesman trailer. It has the lift top lids with gas lifters. I was going to store all my camping stuff in there and have it ready for whenever i want to go camping. Now I know this is no Corolla but I thought it would be a good chance to show you all some of my plans I have for this trailer. I bought the trailer today and I'm going to source most parts off ebay. I like camping with just a swag, slab of cans and small fire and totally roughing it but i also enjoy all the flash gizmo's and gadgets so this is why i want to design this camp trailer. I was going to get a couple of 12v Deep Cycle 100ah (amp hour) batteries and bolt them in the trailer. From this I was going to install a cheap CD player with some marine speakers for music, a 12v fluro light, a 100 litre water tank with a 12v water pump connected to a tap on the outside. Also maybe a 1500watt sign wave inverter for 240v power. I have a small 800w camping generator that i use for lights and charging the batteries so i could use that to charge the deep cycle batteries. I like Rollaclub because everyone on here is so helpful, great social events, met some good mates here and i'm learning heaps about corolla's.

I think its a great idea and I would be interested in buying one. I think it would be better to have all the cars in random order across the page. I'm with jader with having about 4-5 cars across the page. We would need at least 50 corolla's. I'm sure that could be organized.. This would only work if there was lots of interest so count me in! I don't think i can contribute with a complete car though :dance:

Keep the center caps on. It looks way better with them. Alot of people don't have them on the wheels because pricks keep stealing them just like my chrome valve covers... Grrr

If you have ever been interested in R/C cars in your time, check out this. Its called "Slash Vxl" It goes 30+ MPH and hook up two batt's and you have over 50mph. They cost about $250. Wish i saw this when i bought a R/C car 10 years ago. I payed about $200 for mine and only goes 35km/h :dance:

IF I ever have kids (most likely not) I would buy eather a BF falcon Futura Wagon or a Holden SV6 wagon.

Thats a really good finish with the presure pack cans. I like P/P midnight black, I used it a few times for a few parts on cars I had. It never came up that good though, :no2:

Went to the wreckers today looking for a colour coded front bumper but no luck. Instead I found a Ae92 bumper and with few small mods to the front of the rolla it fits pretty well. :no2: I just have to buy some new indicator lens

I just realized, I have not been on a cruise since the last Gor cruise. Its been nearly a year! 82 or not, I'm coming!

Nah i won't be set back :no2: The worst of the weather has passed now (I hope). It was raining this morning but I think the car is pretty safe. If it was my house i would buy a propper shed for the rolla.

The Damn bloody mother f@$king wind blew my carport apart. :no2: The winds recorded about 100km per hour in short bursts. Because there were no sides it got underneath the roof and litrally toor it out of the ground. Weld joints broke and the whole lot twisted up. My mum had to clean it up this morning because it was all scattered across the drive way.

Hey, When I'm reading some thread about something and everyone jumps on it, I sometimes get confused as to who started the thread in the first place. I have to go to the first page and look who started it. Maybe an idea would be to have the topic starter in the window description. EG. Thanks Scotty, I might have to look into that. It wont be for a while (prob next year) but thats handy to know. The tires were rubbing untill i rolled the gaurds but I'm sure they'll rub again if i get 17"s

I bought some 3mm wipper snipper line at bunnings. I am using this to lift the rubber seal around the rear windscreen. This way I can paint underneath the rubber just a little bit and later have the rubber sit over the new paint so I don't have that ugly mask line on the rubber. :worship: I'm up late so i thought i would post up some idea's that i have for the rolla. 1. Modifing the bonnet to have eye lids sitting over the headlights - (maybe) 2. Getting one of those remote control mufflers with volume control 3. Multi coloured LED lights for underdash foot well's 4. Painting cam covers same colour as the body colour 5. Getting new mag wheels - (maybe) 17" Black with chrome lip 6. Tinted windows 7. Thinking about not going crazy with stereo now. No subs, just a good set of 6x9's and splits in front. (Less weight this way) 8. 256 degree cams (later maybe) 9. New leather interior (maybe) 10. New carpet 11. After car is painted and wiring is in i'm getting a sick ass alarm system installed with full remote central locking 12. White dial dash 13. New door cards, might try and get some new design that will match new leather seats if its not too much. 14. Coilovers! These are all just idea's.

Hey, does anyone know where a good Ae82 front bumper might be?? I don't care what colour it is but it has to be colour coded. Its too hard to get a unpainted black textured one and make it smooth. Cheers, Johno :worship:

I got a funny story, I had a Ea falcon a few years back and i go paid $1,000 cash for a painting job that i did. I was going out for the night and didn't want to keep it in my wallet so i hid the cash under the middle arm rest. There is 4 screws you remove to open the plastic cover underneath the armrest. I knew it was there but i didn't take it out incase i spent it. Anyway a 6 months later i sold the car and forgot about the hidden cash. One night i remembered about cash so went to the new owner of my old car and said i forgot something in the car before i sold it. He came out with me and i grabbed a screw driver and opened the cover. Sure enough a massive handful of $50's came out. The owner said Holy shit! He had no idea. I gave him 50 buck's, said thanks and that was that. :worship:
