  2. Cut and copied from Toyota Owners Club Ok Here goes.... The Korumburra Cruise. SUNDAY 27th July. 235Kms <- Thanks Jaderd! Meet At 11:0Oam at Corner Warragul and Dandenong Roads. Theres a Shell Servo and and Subway on the corner with a LARGE carpark we cann all get together in. Depart 12:00 - 12:30pm - Drive to Warragul This trip is the most boring of the cruise... its about an hour or so down the Monash then onto the Princess Hwy. There is 1 fuel stop (toilet/ciggle break) on the way so if you'd like to pause in here let it be known. I'd personally like to get out of the car and have a stretch here at the service centre (old man knees). Stop at Re Grouping area - 5 mins - Head to Korumburra Just after we get off the M1, there's a few turns (as indicated on the map) that gets us to the road that will take us to Korumburra. We should stop here and allow anyone who wants to go hard through the roads to get up towards the front so they aren't held up by some of us sunday drivers. This section of road is brilliant... on a Sunday you can expect next to no traffic the entire trip. This road is renowned by Motor Cyclists as a belter... so if there are any that do come up from behind... just let them by... you'd expect the same treatment from anyone else. expect this section to go for about 30 - 40 mins depending on your right foot and courage levels. Arrive Korumburra - regroup - Lunch at the Pub Once we get off the road from Warragul turn left toward Korumburra and pull over to the left... you'll know where to stop when you see the space. Once back together... its only a 30 second drive to the Pub Carpark from here... Pull in and get a cold one. In Korumburra theres a Historic Village called Coal Creek Check the link here if you guys are keen to get the camera's out and have a look at this place. Its hardly an amazing fun park filled with rides and or attractions... but hey its about as Country Victoria as you'll get! Unless we drive to Walhalla. (<- another EPIC cruise) Could be a great experience for some of you to check out real Australiana. If we decide to stick around... After you've wandered around... we can head back along the South Gippsland Hwy Back to Melbourne. This road takes us through Loch, Nyora, Lang Lang, Tooradin then Cranbourne... more often then not, its busy with traffic coming home from Phillip Island... Police regulate this road heavily. Meet Point - McDonalds Lyndhurst Stop here for a quick bite/drink/smoke/stretch/***** and say good byes if need be... the next leg of the trip takes us back to the Monash Freeway where from here we can go home for the evening. Please Express your interest. There is no minimum attendance requirements for this Cruise... However i'd like to know by the Friday 25th how many people are coming so i can pre-warn the Pub we're coming.

  6. I will be coming. Are we going to portland?
  7. Congratulations on buying your first house! Its great to see you have 3 bedrooms and a double garage, well done. :D
  8. Yeah, there is a list of people on the first post. Date and location is set. I'll write up official maps and meeting points very soon.
  9. Yeah you should still have the car and room temp at minimum 18c. It might not grab/stick well otherwise.
  10. Looks good, the wheels and suspension make it look tuff. Twin carbs... :D Did you re paint it?
  11. Hey man, let me know when you go on your holiday or when you come back. I'm interested in buying a Digital Designs 3512 Sub.
  12. Johno - Screen name John - Real Name Olinda/dandenongs - Location Brown 1986 AE82, 4AC. 15"mags, sumitumo tires, 7" DVD Touch screen, 2" sports exhaust with high flow cat, 8mm leads
  13. It's a stock 4Ac with no extractors, Just a big exhaust. I havent heard it from outside the car but i think is sounds alright. When I use the gears to slow down it has a sort of gargle sound which sounds cool. If i had a big cam it would sound better. **EDIT** Oh yeah, $550 all up. Heres a pic, just got it about 4 days ago
  14. Hi, and welcome to rolla club :D What model corolla do you have?
  15. I just got a 2" exhaust system on my AE82 (1986). It's a 1.6L Sohc. 4ac I don't have extractors, I got 2" right through, a high flow cat, Resonator, Turbo mufferer and twin chrome tip. Sounds good, heaps more power but it does drown a bit when you drive on the freeway.
  16. Ha Ha! my car kinda looks like Fat Bastard's avatar..
  17. Here's another Site talking about engine mods. This one is alot more technical but also quite useful. It discusses all aspects of engine tuning and mods. (simple to advanced) including Exhausts, NOS, Turbo's, Supercharges, clutches, Porting even the right choice of wheels for performance.. http://www.torquecars.co.uk/Tuning/Toyota-tuning.php Here they talk about increasing the gap on your spark plugs http://www.torquecars.com/tuning/combustion.php
  18. Done, your on the list.
  19. Thanks mate, and thanks for saving my lead, :( Good to meet you too and good luck with getting that Rolla. Looks like a beast
  20. I'm not sure what a heat pump is, but if it doesn't have a burning flame or a fan you should be right. Those car paints can get quite nasty, especially if they are in a confined space like your garage.
  21. Congrats on the new engine mate!
  22. Nice, is it fast? It looks fast.... ;) By the way... I"M JEALOUS!!!! ;)
  23. Yeah i guess it would be fairly expensive, Especially with the drivers who can't control their cars and smash up the side rails
  24. I want to repaint my rolla too but i'm going to wait till summer when it's warmer and i'll jst be using single pack acrylic paint then give it a good buff ;) Don't know what colour yet.. ;)
