Nice work with the gas strut under the bonnet. Do you have one on the otherside too? Thinking of doing that to my car too.
  3. Here's a pic i just took 2 mins ago. I couldnt get a clear pic before because there was too much sun glare.
  4. Tires are getting really bad.. Done a little work on the rolla this afternoon. My pethetic attempt to roll the gaurds... Lucky i never got a flat tire because my wheelbrace doen't fit with my mag wheels. :( So i couldn't take the wheels off. :) I used a hammer, block of wood, a rag, vice grips, angle grinder, file and socket set. Started off just with hammer and vice grips and dented my pannels. :hmm: Then used the rag but that didnt help much. Block of wood worked wonders Cut the bumper with angle grinder and some of the metal underneth. Fixed up the dents with car bog. Just done one gaurd for now coz it got dark i'll do the other one another day.
  5. I need your advice to book the tables for lunch.. Anyone.. How many should i book for??? 25?
  6. I don't normaly rev it as high as what i did when you were in the car, that was kinda an accident :( *EDIT* but i still give it a fair bit. :(
  7. Love the detail in the graphics. Games are looking more real every year. *EDIT* Here is a Toyota Supra i got my hands on from GTA 3
  8. I don't think i need a turbo with the way i drive this thing. It will blow it self up in due time... lol Then the conversion... (maybe)
  9. How can you tell what the offset is? Is it written on the wheel or do you have to measure it yourself?
  10. Gee's, Imagine if it was your mate driving it!! The owner would have made him pay for it and they arnt cheap..
  11. Cool as mate, Cheers.
  12. I have 15"s on my car and its not "too" bad... It does rub if i have anyone in the back seat so i just say i can only take one passanger. A few people with ae82's have the same problem so if you roll your gaurds you might be ok. I have no idea about wheel offset and all that. Jus expect the tires might rub a little bit.
  13. Looks like a pretty neat car. Color coded bumpers on white cars look really good. How much did you pay for your car? Do you have pictures of the subs?
  14. Yes, for sure. They are awesome when your pissed. I had one when i was sober (not good... :P )The other things i like at the servo is Mrs mac's Beef cheese and bacon pies, Coke and "V" energy drinks.
  15. I heard in the UK they are paying $3 per litre for petrol right now. At the end of this year i think petrol will be $2 for australia.
  16. Thanks for all the comment's :P I'm still unsure on what color to paint it yet, I'm thinking about just painting it the original color coz it's a huge pain in the ass to paint the engine bay and all the internals. The paint isn't too bad but it is very faded and rusting in some spots like a couple of spots on the roof, bonnet in about 3 spots and a Lil bit on the rear wheel arch. I wont be doing any painting until the weather gets warmer. The temp up here in the hills is about max 8c everyday and i don't have a shed  When i do finally paint it I will paint the window surrounds black and have color coded bumpers.
  17. Yeah, The prodigy is the shit, "Smack My Bitch Up" is pretty good. That gets me going..
  18. When you saw my AE82 last week you said it didn't have a electronic dizzy. Some do, some don't.
  19. What's the date for the shannons car show? I'm flying to tassie just to see this car!
  20. Shit man, i can't even imagine how pissed off you must be. That really sucks but at least it's good to see you got it home now. Do you any pics of it when you got it back?
  21. Thanks mate. I'm not sure about east link, I'll properly go straight down the gutz of Stud road. If it does rain, I'm sure the RWD cars will have alot of fun. If you could take some photo's that would be great. I haven't seen the photo's you took from the last cruise. Did you post them somewhere? Johno
  22. Veeeerrrry nice! :) Power, style, luxury and reliable. We had a cresida long long time ago, When i was like 6years old. We had a 1986. Hope to see you on the dandenong cruise with this beauty. Oh and congrat's with the bub on the way! :yak: 8| Johno.
  23. Welcome to rolla club, pretty soon you might put down rolla club as one of your interests/hobby's, lol! I got a AE82 86 corolla hatch and a EL futura. Spewing you can't drift in the rolla, but i enjoy driving my corolla more than the ford anyway.
  24. Sounds tuff as mate, nice suprise with the side exhuasts. Good work :)
  25. What got me into rollas? My brother needed a cheap car to buy and my grandmother said she knows someone selling a 1986 corolla for $200. He would have bought it but it was manual. Ha, lucky me! I love driving manual and i wanted a cheap car to do up for a project. When i started to fix it up i was looking on the net to find out idea's for colours, wheels and what not.. That's when i found rollaclub and saw lots of other people are fixing up old Corolla's as well.
