Gee's man, can't believe you got hit by a car but its good to hear you didn't get hurt too badly. Your vents, I would say the only thing I can think of is paint stripper... I don't think it will damage the chrome but if it did, you got nothing to loose because you were going to repaint them from the start and sanding the paint off will defiantly damage the chrome. But i really don't think it will do anything to it anyway. I say go for it and give it a shot, just be careful with paint stripper. Its nasty stuff so make sure you wear heavy rubber gloves. Get paint stripper and put it on really thick. Once the paint stripper has worked (about 2 hours i think) get a high pressure water cleaner to wash off the stripper. You might have to repeat the process again because there will always be a bit of paint left on there from the first time. Hope it helps... Johno.

Finlay a major update, Brake Upgrade. :blush: A very big thank you to Andrew (aka Bowler) for his help today, couldn't have done it with out him. :dance: Got a set of Calipers from Pick-a-part off a AE92 corolla, Brand new DBA Disks and a new set of Bosch pads. Haven't really tested the brakes yet as they are still bedding in but as I can feel right now this car is going to pull up very nicely. Cleaning the calipers with degreaser Stock before upgrade Size diference between Ae82 and 92 Wheels on and all finished

Sorry, can't help but laugh :dance: I'm not sure what it would be to make them blow up, too much ginger or sugar maybe. Not really sure. Yours sound like they are really fizzy, I tryed to make ginger beer years ago but mine were all flat. How many bottles have you got left that haven't blown up?

When i got my 2 inch exhaust they rang me half way through the job because my cat was too old. I said just leave it but my exhaust place said they can't do it cos it's illegal. Had to fit a new one, no way around it they said.

Spotted a red AE82 Seca twin cam on corner of Whitehorse and springvale rd in nudawading last night. Red, black bonnet, 15"wheels, exhaust, twin cam written on the side going hard as down whitehorse rd.

^I can tell you live in Queensland when you have nothing but palm trees out the front, lol.

I reccon that kit on it now looks fine the way it is. Its a square car so you don't want to have a curvy bodykit. I think change the grill and have it colour coded with the rest of the car would be the only thing i would change on the outside.

I found my grans ford outside her house. lol It's at my house now and I'm fixing it up

I Finlay got the TV working in my car! I was bored last night and needed to get out of the house so I went down to safeway and bought a TV antenna. Here's a you tube vid of it working. Don't ask me why it looks the way it does, I don't know why it turned out like it did. Looks fine on my computer but on you tube its warped..
