My 4ac Ae82 does it too. Its just condensation and the black stuff is built up soot. It should only do it for a few mins when cold.

I told my gf about the cruise and she's coming, so I'm going to take my falcon on the cruise. I would take the rolla but its in more pieces than the previous pic and stripped back to pretty much nothing now.

That is the thinnest disk I have ever seen and don't think i will ever see one thinner ever again. Does brake dust come from pads or disks? I get a fair amount of brake dust now that I upgraded my brakes :yes:

Here's the guy in bayswater, He's really helpfull and defanatly worth a visit. He's always happy to help, tell him i sent you and he'll help you out. I just bought a spraygun, thinners and primer and i got scotchbite, mixing cups, stiring sticks, extra spraytips and gun holder for free. He mainly deals with selling paint but he does spray cars and has a spray booth and oven and he knows his shit. EDIT: forget the name and mobile number on the front card. Ossie - 0411 135 180

Got some more goodies for the rolla... Etch primer, thinners, AND... Spray gun! The guy I bought the stuff off was really helpfull and he threw in for free, scotchbrite, mixing cups and stiring sticks. Also, I got free was spare spray tips and attatchments for the air hose and a stand for the gun so I can hang it on the wall to top up paint or whatever. First things first, finish sanding, filling, rust converting, masking up and cleaning.

I got a contact for a bloke in bayswater, he's doing my car soonish. 2 pac in a propper spray booth and oven baked. I'll PM you his number and address. I'm doing all the prep work and he's pulling the trigger, Cash. EDIT Oh yeah, I had the same problem as you got. No one wants to even look at my car. I told them it will be a rolling Shell and they said "nope don't wanna know about it mate. No one took me seriously. So I said f*** it, i'll do it my self, Thats where this guy came in.

Are you just getting a light rub back and clear coat? Oh yeah, one more question.. :dance: How did you get 4 bolt stuts on the first page? I got myself some strut bracing and i need 4 bolt struts otherwise its pointless putting it on with 3 bolt ones. Did you just bolt on some twincam struts or is there more to it than that?

Thanks for your help :dance: You have gone to such detail with everything on this car and it certanly shows. On the second last pic, what are the long chrome bar thingo's? Oh yeah, reason i ask about the taillights is because i had a Ea ford sedan a few years back and i tinted the tail lights and i too never had a problem with but when it came to inshurance they didnt want to know me or have anything to do with my car so i drove in uninshured for a few months till i got rid of it. I want to inshure the corolla and want to tint the taillights so i'll try pull some strings.. or just go a hint of tint that looks good but not black.

I'm still thinking about colours for my rolla. Its a hard decision to make because once its done your stuck with it (good or bad) and its a shit load of work to change it later. I'm just like you, i see cars on the road with colours i like and think yep i'll get my rolla in that colour. I was going to go VW golf Gti red, then black, off a Rav 4, then BMW Beige, then white, now thinking ivory but still not sure. I'm just blabering now.. lol Nice work with the car.
