Hey Chris, The bumper is only just sitting there. you can see is being held up with some boot springs :jamie: I tried the 38/36 mounts on the 30 bumper. the 30 top mount bolt is on a different angle to the 38. also the 30 mounts sit more towards the center of the car. Yea, still after the apron. Will give you a call some time this week to oragnise a time to pick up.

Pity about the ignition problems Luke. Hope you get it sorted out soon so you can crusie the wheels off it :jamie:

Corollas have +20 offset so you could go with something as low as +8 offset without running into troubles.

Here you can see why they call it a half rebound leave (Top leaf is half the length of the pack) You can see 3 clips around the leaf pack. the 2 that look the same are there weather there is a half leaf or not. there is also 2 the same on the other end. the 3rd clip (right at the front) is rivited to the half leaf and is closed around the main leaf. Hope this helps.

finally welded in the new lip for the boot seal. still needs a final grind back and tidy up. Also the drivers D pillar from this to this (still needs a grind back) Chucked on a KE30 bumper, pity about the number plate lights. will have to find a 36 bar or make modded brackets for the 30.

Sadly you can't get track engineered. I got done for wheels out of track on the 1st canary. only because the wheels were scrubbing and the cop didnt wanna send me to regency for being too low. As for the cost of engineering. It cost the electrician at work $700 to get 4WD 1/4 panels approved on his 2WD hilux (4wd guards have less of a cut out for the wheel arch AFAIK)

Unless you get someone on a bad day. The attitude of the officer i got when i was defected in my driveway was nothing but appauling. I was nothing but co-opperative and respectful (seriously). All i got back was attitude and rude comments. Yes, i do think i got him on a bad day. but if he's going to act like that towards someone while doing his day job i think he should have called in sick. anyway, WGMG. not having a rotiserie or 2/4 post hoist. Doing rust repairs under the bum of a corolla while laying on your back sucks the nut.

That sucks balls Troy. I had a pig of a cop when i got defected. making comments towards both the car and myself. If you need the cut guards fixed let me know and we can work something out.

Best bet is to go down and see the guys at Industrial springs. have a talk to them about what you want to do with the car and they should be able to sort you out with something. Details for Industrial Springs is in the recommended list in the SA regional forum.

I would not be suprised one bit if the 20 lifts the front wheels with 10's on the back.

I wound back a spare odometer i had for my ke30. wound it back to 00000km and worked perfectly

MSD 6200 Ignition system should be on the way to me som time mid week. Also should have some Stainless pipe and bends coming my way next week.

No progress on the beast as of yet. Going back to work this week so i'll have acess to all the steel i need to finish off the rest of the reapirs. Hopefully moving sheds soon so will have more of a workshop set up.
