  1. mmmmmMMMmmmMMMM Boooooost. Should be mental with double the boost up top. Hopefully wider front wheels reduce the understeer.
  2. We have a 22R-C in a Hilux and it pulls harder than a schoolboy
  3. I can't see it doing your battery any good. but whenever spring steel is welded at work its always with Diamond 5000S rods (stainless). after its been welded its run thru a tempering chamber. only after that is it suitable to be used as a spring.
  4. yea mate. at the firewall. also helps to put a small hose clamp in front of the C clip. the C clips aparantly have a rep for coming off. the hose clamp will help stop it coming off. or atleas be there so you don't loose all control over the clutch if the C clip does come off.
  5. ahahahaha, autos
  6. Van goes over a bump and a whole side worth of bog just falls out.
  7. Not to forget the better than 4A 86 potential :lovin:
  8. i did that to an R31 that was sitting a few cm off my bumper. needless to say he backed right off. Mine sounded tough with what i thought was a big hole in the bottom of the muffler. it wasnt till we went to swap exhaust systems we found id blown the top seam right apart. so, any plans for the brown beast yet?
  9. Its been done before. dunno how long its lasted tho.
  10. Do you not get it? its still a PUBLIC ROAD. Doesnt matter which road you go and do it on. its still illegal. These days theres more likely hood that you'll get caught in an industrial area due to the po po cottoning onto it. if you wanna go do skids, take it to the track. if you wanna keep going on the street, its a matter of when not if you will get caught. especially those who post videos of this stuff Remember, Some people don't even need to be drifting to hill poles n shit.
  11. Nice buy mate. Hopefully it doesnt have much/any tinworm Did anyone else notice the tacho dash? Hahahaha, i did the same thing to my ke30 muffler. some said it sounded pretty tough for a 4k.
  12. I like your new setup better :lolcry:
  13. That was actually a serious question. I'm sitting here going "HB??????" Too bad the car wont be ready for any cruises in the coming months. might organise one when its done.
  14. Same here mate. I came here with no knowledge of corollas what so ever after snagging a ke25 for $200. now I'm up to my 3rd? one in 2yrs. And yes, you can ask a question and get a good informative answer. Oldholden.com is full of guys that know their stuff :lolcry: Just don't like the layout :lovin:
  15. HB? enlighten me please Lesley :lolcry:
  16. I have a low revving, pushrod, iron block 6cyl. Does this make my car a bogan crap box? Oh, Fuzzkill. I read your whole thread. Amazing work. My first car was a KE25 too :lolcry:
  17. Car wont be ready. sorry guys
  18. SO this is that beast ay david? Shoulda kept the old one. Seen it just today aswel. Hope you've got plenty of motivation :no2: Whats wrong with that question?
  19. Exactly You could say that about some of the projects on here. This guys obviously proud to say that this is his brothers car and all some people can do is complain about it. don't like it? read a different thread, easy :no2:
  20. Id say either move the horns and use the recess where the sit to cut out for the piping. or enlarge the holes either side of the radiator where the bumper mounts go thru if you wanna keep the pipes low in the bay. Just a couple of ideas
  21. This thing will be tough. definatly one to watch. The owner of this beast actually lives around the corner from me, literally :no2:
  22. More like. Heat it, Bend it or do what ever with it, whilst still red hot quench it in quenching oil (not any old oil), then temper it.
  23. I hope you don't mean welding another swaybar to the original one Reaper? Sway bars are infact springs. Which are made from spring steel. If you go welding it with anything other than Stainless rods and don't temper it. it will become brittle from the heat and eventually crack. As for clipping a second swaybar in. apart from being a bit crude, it has worked before. Just make sure what ever you use to hold the two together is plenty strong.
  24. Quoted For Truth
  25. ungreatful much? Id like to see how long it takes for him to to it /organise it all himself
