  1. as it goes around further it should get faster. the have the numbers around the outside like ...3...4...5...VTEC yo...BOOOM
  2. I ran a 4K-H (3k head) with a stock cam and 4 into 1's. Could definatly feel it lacked a little in the bottom end but once the revs climed the motor really opened up and went (for what it was) 4-2-1 (tri-y) for daily duties 4-1 for high rpm spirited driving.

    Spotted

Spotted Bundy today..again. I was the guy in the white VN giving ya the thumbs up as yuo were turning off of main Rd in belair.
  4. Yeah, the one i was after :D
  5. Second from the top. the one under the main leaf. should get the car around level if you chop the fronts 1.5 coils Previous owner of my car flipped the 3rd and it was absolutelty dumped in the arse.
  6. Carb sounds like a 4K-C. All the emissions stuff means its off a more recent engine. Manufactures don't make thinks more simple to work on as technolgy improves :D
  7. as seabiscuit said, wait until you can afford it. Bet the missus wont be too happy if something screws up. But if you have your heart set on doing it now. Chop 1.5 coils off the front for 325mm hub to eyebrow and flip the 2nd leaf on the rears. with the front at 325 the rear should be around 320- 315 to get the rear sitting pretty.
  8. Went for a trip to U-Pull-It today. Got some sigma wheel studs, Fingers crosses they knurl is the right size. also picked up a stock toyota tacho and modded it to fit in the stock late30/early 55 instrument cluster. Crappy pics but you get the point. Still needs a few finishing touches and a little mod to the front so that its not covering half of each number.
  9. om nom nom. Lookin good.
  10. Do you build your own engines or out source the work?
  11. What let go on the 2TG? if the heads alright go for the 3TG. there are more and more T18's coming into the wrecking yards here = more 3T blocks.
  12. Welcome guys. wagn, wagons = the shit :D

    Spotted

Spotted a KE36 wagon at UPI lonsdale today. was checkin it out. Feel the wagon love. Also spotted a KE30 speedway car on the back of a trailer on monday night. approx 12pm on Bains Rd and Panalatinga
  14. Thats before they see the cage. Maybe it could be hidden with a liberal applcation of frangipani stickers :D
  15. Should Fit up alright but I'm not 100% on *E7* stuff. Diff internals may be different as the 4AC wouldve been or torquey/powerfull.
  16. Quoted For Truth.
  17. Looks tough :D Lovin the fab work on the pipe work. Should be good to see the dyno results. how many Psi are you running?
  18. 8mm really?!?. I made up some 9mm spacers for the front of my 38 and the studs are only just long enough now. If they're 8mm longer then they'll be perfect. Thanks Parrot :D
  19. How much longer are the sigma ones? and does it include all sigma models? Sorry for the Hijack.
  20. Doing what id does best :D
  21. You do know these engines only put out 125kw in standard guise? Nick, wicked car. The power to weight ratio would be enough to make baby jesus cry.
  22. Have a look on www.toymods.net there is a stud comparison thread there somewhere. Should be able to give you the info you need
  23. Lookin good guys. as Phil said, all the small things that you have done Lesley certainly show them selves when compared to a mainly stock car. Were those pics from Manchester St near Cafe De Villis?
  24. Not much of an update. Just 1 repair in each of the D pillars left, weld the boot seal lip on and 1 repair in the passenger rear wheel arch. Progress has slowed alot from when we started but i have this week off so apart from the time to take the head off my ute and get it running it will be spent on the wagon.
