I just got a brand new PBR trailer brake master thru work. Best thing it only cost me $20 brand new :) I reckon a hydro handbrake would be good if you wanna be able to lock up the rears real hard. but not have to yank the mechanical hand brake up just as hard. If you use a big enough master cylinder you should be able to lock them up real hard while not having to rip the handle off the floor.

Yes, It all fits. only mods/ possible mods being; May have to swap to a KE70 gearbox crossmember to use the 5spd mount. And the shifter is further back on the KE70 box. you will have to cut a section of your tunnel out to allow the shifter to come thru. Just extent the original shifter hole Approx 3 inches (75mm/7.5cm) rearward. Once the gearbox is in, and the shifter is thru the floor. Grab yourself some sheet metal and cover the now unused section of the shifter hole. Attach it to the floor with either rivets, screws or some good ol Sikaflex. The Sikaflex is probably the easiest to do and is PLENTY strong enough to hold it there. I had a great time trying to pull the plate off the floor when i stripped the car. Good luck. EDIT: Just read Taz_Rx's post, if your KE55 is auto, then you will need to do some fab work to allow the gearbox mount to line up with the crossmember. The KE70 mount sits a fair whack forward of the 30/55 auto crossmember. I used a piece of thick steel plate welded to the top of the auto crossmember and then welded the gearbox mount on top of the plate. can't remember how far the mount was out tho.

Spotted this again, at the intersection of Sturt and South Roads approx 6:25pm turning onto Sturt. Looks pretty average, twin exhaust hanging off the back and the reverse lights still on haha. Needless to say, he was heading right past the Sturt cop shop.....mmmmmm feast

Spotted a red KE70 this arvo. In belair, i think (really can't remember) had a missing front bumper. Also, if the owner is on here. Please get your reverse lights sorted out. Reverse lights on all the time is defect i think.

Yes, on cold tyres. As he says in the video, once the tyres are warm and nice and sticky, the car is an absolute bullet.

Either way works fine. I had the Cable tie style mounts that go between the fins and then you slide the locking ring down like a cable tie. Never had a problem. The Cable tie ones are the easiest if you don't have the skills to make up mounts to go across your radiator. Plus being plastic, if you do press them up against the tubes, they will just flex out of the way.

Spotted a ke20 on port rd drive past my work twice. Bamboo in colour. Also spotted RA28GT's KE20 at his work. Looks abosolutely wicked with the flares, wheels and the lip. Top Job

The drifter didnt f@$k the car, the fact the it had BALD TYRES on the front is the reason the car went in a ditch and f@$ked the front suspension. If the tyres hadnt have been bald the car woulda been more likely to stop before going in the ditch. And Rich Rolla, I hope for your sake you've found out why bald tyres are BAAADD news.

Spotted a Black 86 pulling into the Caltex on Fullarton Rd. i laughed as he obviously had very stiff springs and an open center. As he turned in he got half way till his inner wheel lifted and being an open center it left him stranded till they car rocked enough to get it moved enough to bring the inner wheel back on the ground. we both smirked as he drove past while i was filling up.

Hey man, i got a VDO boost guage here if you want it, black faced too. only gonna get put somewhere in the shed and never used again. its on offer i ya want it. Harnesses are lookin good too. takes awa from the sleeper feel of the car but definatly sleeper < safety.
