Spotted a KE20 approx 4:40pm this arvo on park terrace. look in pretty average condition RGN-XXX plates Red *E7* sedan at the intersection of park tce and phillip highway. had primer around the rear bumper, lowered, bit of camber and a loud exhaust. Beigy *E7* wagon on Pt Wakefield rd turning onto salisbury hwy.

Thanks mate just the stuff i need to get me motivated again. :) Haven't go access to the car this week but hopefully i can use this time to follow up a few leads on a powerplant. just paid off my 2nd fine so i'll let the bank recover again and hopefully get stuck into once again.

If its such a waste of time, why waste your time posting in here? Ive already said why I'm not going to stick an 8 in my ute and with the new laws coming into SA apparantly i wont be able to drive a V8 till I'm 25. Have you seen some of the burnout cars out there? Go ask the owner how much time and money went into it, then ask them if they think it was a waste of money. I don't wanna be ripping skids in my daily, i use it to get to work and don't wanna fark it up and get in the shit with the 5-0. I've had enough of them for the time being. Ive said it before, if your just gonna sit there and critisise and say nothing even remotely constructive then GTFO.

Spoted a ke30 this arvo around 4pm, waiting to turn onto south road from chandlers hill rd. was olive green with a ke30 grill like i had. pretty mintah nick too. (from what i saw)

Spotted a rusty ke55 thursday morning at about 7:54 tuning onto port rd heading towards the city.

id use a T50 no mater what, i don't think i'd trust a K50 behind anything more than a K engine

As i said in another thread (possibly yours) the manual and auto crossmembers are diffrerent as is the cross member position. Auto X member has 4 small bolts whereas manual Xmember has 2 big ones Auto X member is further back than the manual one.

Now that would really be a waste of my time and money.

Hey Josh. Like most others have said, give the car a rest for a little while and get the missus "happy" again then slowly start workin on the car and eventually find a balance. There's even a slight chance you could ge the missus doing little things on the car and maybe she'll realise its not just another pile. A mate of mine on here had the same deal. The missus didnt like him spending money on it but as soon as he got it looking ok and she started working on it, doing little bits. 15's seem to fill out the arches on ke20/30's really well. 12's look tiny, even in the stocko guards on a ke20

Yep, going by what ive been told. An adjustable ECU is illegal which rules out Aftermarkets.

I wound my rattly old 4k/4spd out to about 130-140 without a hassle. has a blown out rear muffler stuffed resi. a KE70 shifter position will line up with the rear of the auto shifter hole. Just needs to be widened a smidge, drivers side on mine. ALSO, work out where the mount and crossmember end up. we found out the hard way with my KE70 5spd into my originally auto ke30. I have a crossmember and mount (now 1 piece) to suit this swap. probably not the most proffesional way of doing it but if your keen PM me.

Well where they have 5/16 its fair to say they'd have 3/8 aswel. Just seeing where people source their steel line from.

I went to see some guys i know at a holden wreckers and the asking price for a 253 and tri combo was around $1200 :sob: but only 300 more for a 308 and tri. I don't really wanna V8 the ute as the engine in there was only done 2yrs ago and hasnt missed a beat. I know i wont get back what i paid if i sell it so i might aswel stick with it, its plently fast enough for what i do anyways 8/.
