+1 for getting a weird feeling when you leave your pride and joy parked somewhere unfamiliar or somewhere with a bad rep. 1 of my old mans HD's got nicked from the city one weekend when he was like 100m away. 7 months later the Pt Adelaide CIB rang claiming to have found it in a shed at North Haven. I was the bike and it was still in 1 piece (not without a bit of damage). so keep in mind one day when you least expect it might turn up. Fingers crossed mate.

yea, when i got regency defected the cop was waiting down my street for me. apparantly there was a report of me doing skids that very day. Also had a nice letter from the Po Po before i got my corolla. There was a complaint that i was speeding in my ute near my tech school. Especially around that area i DO NOT speed as its within walking distance to the christies beach cop shop. So people can and will make fake reports or complaints. They just have nothing better to do.

Good quality tools are a great investment :bash: just crack one of the hoses and let the gas escape slowly. you can get people out to degas them but i think they charge a bit to do it.

I used ISOPROPYL (SPL?) alcohol to remove tint. Had a wagon with a wind down rear window so the window was scratched to buggery plus the tint had bubbled and gone purple. I used the alcohol and a wide blade scraper and it came off nice and easy.

haha, that'd work on the roof. not so sure about the bonnet. probably go with a Filter thru the bonnet. Contemplating making the front section (radiator and headlight support) an all bolt on affair. Just that I'm not keen on havin to lift a V8 in and out of a ke30 bay. So having the front removable means i can just slide the whole engine and gearbox out from the front, hopefully.

I've painted the bonnet too. Did that satdee night. Might have to go with the air filter thru the bonnet or a design on it as it REALLY needs soemthing to break up all the black.

I know its not Rolla related but i spotted Trent from seaford. Talked in the exact same way as his cousin from Punchbowl. Twas quite the lol.

went to check out the pickings at UPI then came back to report his finding. Spotted a 30/55 heading along states rd tonight around 6:10 pm. Spotted my lil 30 tonight again. masking up the rest of the drivers side for the final final paint and touch ups. :bash:

Yes twas like a little rolla convention in lonsdale. This was a spur of the moment thing friday night to see what it looked like. still looked alright saturday morning so i went to SCA and went to town with a spray can.

yea, money is a limiting factor also. Does anyone know if a holden trimatic output shaft is the same as the one used in corollas? gonna make me a taishaft loop when i can get the car up on some stands.

Corona/Celica/Cressida Brake Upgrade have a read thru this. Its a corona/celica/cressida conversion. it all bolts up with no mods (with the exception of cutting the dust guard) might be of help in some way
