Either way works fine. I had the Cable tie style mounts that go between the fins and then you slide the locking ring down like a cable tie. Never had a problem. The Cable tie ones are the easiest if you don't have the skills to make up mounts to go across your radiator. Plus being plastic, if you do press them up against the tubes, they will just flex out of the way.

The drifter didnt f@$k the car, the fact the it had BALD TYRES on the front is the reason the car went in a ditch and f@$ked the front suspension. If the tyres hadnt have been bald the car woulda been more likely to stop before going in the ditch. And Rich Rolla, I hope for your sake you've found out why bald tyres are BAAADD news.

Spotted a Black 86 pulling into the Caltex on Fullarton Rd. i laughed as he obviously had very stiff springs and an open center. As he turned in he got half way till his inner wheel lifted and being an open center it left him stranded till they car rocked enough to get it moved enough to bring the inner wheel back on the ground. we both smirked as he drove past while i was filling up.

Hey man, i got a VDO boost guage here if you want it, black faced too. only gonna get put somewhere in the shed and never used again. its on offer i ya want it. Harnesses are lookin good too. takes awa from the sleeper feel of the car but definatly sleeper < safety.
