  3. Looking good man! Do i spy a KE30 shifter boot there :P
  4. Pcv opens under vacuum. Which is why alot of older cars let off a puff of oil smoke after closing the throttle. If the valve hasnt already completly jammed up...

  9. Front of the tailshaft didnt drop down. Was still able to drive it! Got towed down to pedders and replaced both uni's. Will upload pics when i get a chance! Currently at EWT's place here in Sunbury. Just about to turn over 1,100km!
  10. I don't like my chances of having much of a saturday night. Just finished packing the car. Not even worth trying to get some sleep. In RedBull and NoDoze we believe.
  11. Might as well end all the talk of head gaskets and over heating...... ......Just blew my front uni. And i just have to have a jap diff and tailshaft...
  12. Currently sitting on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck to arrive. Just smashed the front uni ugh.

  14. Hey Mate, Car looks good, Definatly unique! usually see you down by the lights near Repco in St Marys in the mornings. I drive a green wagon.
  15. Oh, and with the weber on, roughly tuned, it freaking flys, the amount of down low torque it has gained is amazing. And the induction noise, OHHH the induction noise!
  16. So after having Mick try to give it a decent tune, we made the decision to put the weber back on. Got it all on, cabled up, heated up. Gave it a kick in the guts, and as soon as the fuel filled the bowl she fired up and ran. Bit of adjustment left to do yet. Gonna head down to work tommorow to find a spring that will pull my throttle shut, at the moment theres nothing there to do it. Head down to Mick's after and give it a good going over. hit the bay with degreaser and she's all ready to go!! Also fitted a 70A relay for my starter motor. Turns over first time now :D
  17. We had the same issue fitting a 55 bonnet to a KE30. Maybe try finding a latch off a KE30 before you go chopping?
  18. Si's in Tassie, Heaters always going :P
  19. Just an inch lower in the arse. Looks a hell of alot better. Hows that 20 of yours? Sorted the cooling issues?
  20. I heard along the grape vine there is yet another corolla in the stable? Might be dribble tho?
  21. Cheers Justin! I think so too. Keeps getting better, the carpet in the back makes it look a shit load better. Gonna get some vinyl tomorrow and do the rest of the interior before GOR.
  22. Probably better off cutting the rack mounts off the KE70 X member and welding them to the KE3x crossmember.
  23. Who owns the Orange and Black 35? I see it most days on the way to work.
