  1. Yep yep. When are you free? Oil and filter change tonight or tomorrow.
  2. So now, I have a working boot latch opener. Original rod was too long and the lock wouldnt open it. Made one 10mm shorter, Perfect! Also have carpet in the boot and up the back of the rear seat. Carpet was a little short width wise so it looks a bit shit rearward of the arches, but ALOT better than it did. Got it all in, then realised h hadnt cut the hole for the seat latch handle. Looks really good without it, don't wanna cut it up now. But i'll make a polished alloy trim to go around it. Getting more stuff ready for the GOR run saturday morn.
  3. Jono, that sucks epic monkey nuts. Helicoil kits are usually pretty expensive. Give the thread doctor or whatever he calls himself. Might set ya back $70 or so but saves alot of hassles.
  4. Quit-chya yabberin.. SA crew has to leave the MEET POINT as like 2:30am.... oh dear...

7K however isnt a legal swap, needs larger brakes again. At least according to the bloke who built KETURBO25's car.
  6. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, can i has a bite?
  7. Lookin' Sweet!
  8. OKE stopped his sky high wheel stands by using softer front springs and travel limiters. May be an idea to stop the front launching up in the air and the ass squatting so much?

Yep, legal. as long as you have a disc brake front.

Will be discussing it with RKE.
  11. f@$k YEA!
  12. This does work. Removed a rear windscreen and seal out of a KE38 by myself with 2 flat blade screw drivers. All you need to do is slowly work the rubber lip on the inside of the car out and over the steel seam/lip of the car. Installed the seal and window into another car with washing line rope (best stuff to use) Seals perfect and havent had a problem.
  13. Certainly right about it sounding tough! Love it.
  14. KE3x tailshafts slot into some T50 output shafts. The TE3x crossmember has its mounts 30mm forward of KE3x crossmembers. Fusion mounted his 3T to KE3x mount position and had to shorten the tailshaft by about 30mm.

  16. My dad had a motorbike stolem a number of years ago, turned up 7 months later when cops raided a house for weapons and drugs. Hope it makes its way back to you safe and sound.
  17. Keep the auto! 4,000rpm stall converter in it. Set it up so its almost on full boost by then....... :lolcry:
  18. Woz, Get yourself down to Autobarn, Aeropro hidden aerials. I got one, comes with 4.6m of cable so i mounted mine on the rear windown near the hinge and ran the wiring up in the roof and down the A pillar. Hook it up to your stereo, +12v and ground Hey Presto!, working, Hidden aerial! Only like $25 too.
  19. can't see much of a difference in height in the second pic.
  20. So like.....I got the blocks, they looked like the one on the left, after id finished milling em, they looked like the one on the right. Drilled and reamed to 14mm 14mm pin pressed in So i ripped the diff out today and got the 4.5:1 ratio one roughly in position. Went to fit the lowering blocks and alas, they didnt fit. Some noob at work has fitted 5/8" (15.8mm) centerbolts. Drilled the base of the blocks to suit, after some other assorted f@$king around, all was in! Took it for a drive and still, all was good :) adjusted the hand brake and off i went. picks up a hell of a lot better and not much of a notable increase in revs, which is good. PICS!!! Before: After: Shit pic
  21. Came home thursday to find a package from Twinkytodd waiting for me. Some 1.5" lowering blocks! So yesterday i took them into work and got them into the milling machine. Blocks went from 1.5" down to 1". The original pins and holes were 12mm items to suit KE20 borgwarner i think? Anyways, the pins got milled away when i did the blocks. Drilled the holes to around 13.7mm then reamed to 14mm. Cut up some 14mm round bar to size, then gave em a press fit into the blocks and DONE! Pics up later.

  23. Heading down early today to rip the 4.5:1 diff out of the panelvan to go into this. Should make for some interesting differences in acceleration. All i can say is thank god I've also got a 5spd. Picked up a replacement clutch from Raven, No heavy duty or anything, just a stocker till i find myself a W50. So many different size clutches with the same spline, nice wide selection to choose from. Also got an Aerial for the radio from Sam (Bugzbarney) installed and working a treat!
  24. Ooooooohhhh. The monster sticker on the rear sums it up in one word
