There is a coventry fasteners in Edwardstown, next to Motor Traders. Almost across the road from the Goodguys.

Grab yourself a Pintara 4.11:1 gearset for that diff. Same as KE30 manual diff ratio.

Replaced the broken Hardy-Spicer with a Precision/GMB one. Rotated the tailshaft 180deg to the diff flange and it has eliminated any vibration that was there before. Have a feeling thats what cause the new one to bust. Rather heavy vibrations at 75-85km/h. All i can say is lucky it happened here in Adelaide!

5K's Do actually have a harmonic ballancer, inner and outter seperated by about 3-4mm of rubber dampener.

The one i was running takes a standard 19 spline corolla clutch but the outside is relativly smooth with 2 vertical ribs each side and no horizontal ribbing. Might have been a different casing with std internals? Still killed it. What is the part number for the H/D Holden 6 uni? Might get a pair when i switch diffs. Anyone know if the input flange on a Skyline/Pintara BW78 is the same as the KE30/55 BW68?

Stu is running an import 5speed yes? The K50 with bugger all external ribbing? I've killed an import 5speed, killed 1 jap uni unknown age, 1 6day old jap uni and made a Borg warner diff very unhappy at life.

Clearance the fan maybe? The fan pulls air thru so no problems with it trying to move back toward the pulley.

This is for a KE70 panelvan yes? Remember, they have completely different rear ends to sedans. Would hate for someone to get a sedan diff, then go to rip out the wagon one and realise its not gonna go. EDIT: Would love it actually, many lols would be had.

How much does it hit by?

Thanks Stu! Definatly reliable apart from uni's. 2nd front uni within a week. These have grease nipples on them. Instructions said to pump them full of grease until it begins to purge from all four seals. Gonna hit the wreckers up and get a BW78 out of a Pintara. Short axles are 100mm shorter than the long ones. so 2 short axles will get me to about 15mm wider than a KE30 diff either side. I'll use the Corolla BW tailshaft as they run holden 6cyl uni's. I still had all my GOR stuff in the car aswell as tools and 2 other passengers which the weight would have been up around the 1200kg mark. Ryan.

I had the same thing with an R31 following me in the KE30. Few keybangs later he was right on my bumper, slipped down a cul-de-sack and parked behind a van. He gave up :dance:
