So possibly an Earth feed? Mate was playing around with the stereo and something arc'd. Dunno if he let some smoke out. Turned on the ignition, everything was like normal. Let it sit for a while and started doing what it is doing at the moment. will have a bit of a gander. Cheers for the ideas guys.

Charge light doesn't get brighter when the headlights are turned on, even high beam. Only when the handbrake is applied does the charge light get brighter.

How thick do you need the steel intake plate?

KE30/55 Wiring Diagrams :) As i said yesterday, i'dd be looking at the wiring between the relay and headlights. Both headlights run off a single wire that splits up at the plug for the RH headlight. A break in that wire before the RH headlight will cause both to stop working.

Spotted a silver KE55 at the intersection of Beach/Doctors rd and Main South Rd. Last night approx 8:50pm

I know this is re-hashing an old thread. But could i possibly suggest getting a lightened flywheel shot peened to avoid said explosions?

So as some of you guys may know, Gettin' in depth with electrical systems gives me the shits. If i try and trace the problem myself, i'll end up with a Chernobyl style failure. The problem is.. the charge light, oil pressure light don't light up when the key is turned to ignition. When the engine is started, the charge light stays off. Then after a short period the charge light stays on. Alternator you may say? Alternator works fine and charges the battery. When the charge light is on, and the handbrake is applied. Not only does the handbrake light turn on, but the charge light increases in brightness. Same thing happens with the handbrake as the charge light on ignition and when the engine is running. Any help is muchly appreciated. CHEERS Ryan
