How about at high rpm or when you give the throttle a tap?. I Know of a K engine that only runs on 2cyl down low and 4 up high due to a leaky manifold gasket.

Pull the first plug out and see if you have spark in the chamber. You might have a dodgey sparkplug.

+1 for replacing all the steering parts. Might even go as far as reco the steering box and front end bushes and balljoints. Makes one hell of a difference.

So possibly an Earth feed? Mate was playing around with the stereo and something arc'd. Dunno if he let some smoke out. Turned on the ignition, everything was like normal. Charge light doesn't get brighter when the headlights are turned on, even high beam. Only when the handbrake is applied does the charge light get brighter.

How thick do you need the steel intake plate?
